Great round of golf
The greens were great but the course is scheduled for aeration this June 3rd that is Florida —- the greens were great fast and true course is a great layout
How a good golf course should be
A lot of Courses wonder why their business drops off in the hot summer weather in Florida, well take a visit to Glen Lakes and see how maintenance and course management should be done and you too will keep local business. It was hot, but that it to be expected, the course was immaculate, considering the conditions. I would play every week here if finances permitted.
Always enjoy playing here
Glen Lakes is alway an enjoyable round. I play there several times a year and would play more if it was a little closer to home. We’re in the transitional time for Florida course, it’s been dry, the rye grass has died and the Bermuda has not complete filled in but Glen Lakes is in better shape than many area courses with a few tight lies but overall in pretty good condition. Greens were in good shape and rolled well.
Well kept Golf Course
82 degrees didn't stop me from playing 18 holes at 1PM .. the fairways are still great and the greens were fast and challenging .. not easy to find anymore in the Tampa Area . Credit the overall management of GlenLakes for making this a 5 Star golf course and maintaining it !!!!!!!
Always enjoy playing here
I play Glen Lakes 6-7 times a year and it’s always in good condition. Would play here more if it was closer to home. Challenging but fair. This is the transition time for Florida courses where the rye grass is gone and the Bermuda grass is starting to grow so many courses have tight lies on fairways but there were very few spots here where you had a bad lie in the fairway. Grounds crew as well as the folks inside do a great job.
Augusta greens
Course is in pretty good shape, the winter rye is about done. Greens were rock hard and lightning fast.
Great Layout
Glen Lakes is an enjoyable experience.
Greens greatly improved from last time I played and quite fast.
