GlenLakes Country Club

First of all let me say the course layout was great well maintained. But let me tell you the incident that happened in the pro shop before we played. My wife and I walked into the pro shop and the first thing the attendant said that my wife's shirt was not good enough to play there. He said one of the residents saw Us drive in the parking lot and saw my wife's shirt and said that she couldn't play there. The shirt that my wife had on was purchased at Augusta national. Let me say we have golfedt atAugusta nationat the Players and at Innisburg golf club and my wife's shirts have always been good enough for them. So my recommendation to anyone don't go to this golf course you will be treated rudely and be embarrassed. And FYI she bought one of the old lady shirts from the pro shop so we could play.

I was treated like I have been going there for yeaslrs by everyone I ran into. A course like this gives you inspiration to set a standard when choosing a membership somewhere.

We got a hot deal on this course which we had played before and knew it was very nice and in great shape. The last time we played GlenLakes the greens were very bumpy due to aerification. This time they were very good and rolled true. Definitely a pleasure to play GlenLakes when the conditions are this nice even in the middle of a Florida hot day.

Haven’t played Glen Lakes in over a year. Was in awe of how nice the condition is. Tee boxes, fairways & even the rough was impeccable. It was playing off a carpet. The greens were smooth & challenging pin placements meant no gimmes. It was an opportunity to play a golf course the way they’re supposed to look & feel. It was totally my pleasure to play here. Hope to return soon

This course is in amazing shape. Good staff, helpful if your first time playing here. Hidden Gem in the area.

I played this a few years back thought I’d try again on a hot deal. $33. Fairways were poor in spots but not all of them. Greens super slow and weeds- prob rolling at 6. Tees boxes grass higher than it should be. One tee box grad complete gone- I think 17 par 3. Rough grass- some of it was 8” tall. Areas around greens poor. Overall not in good shape. A guy said they have had sprinkler issues and not much rain. Such a nice layout too. If well maintained would be a great experience. Def not worth $40.

This is a challenging course at 6600 from the back. Greens are good- not super fast but solid. Fairways nice. They only have one tee time for non members so for $60- it’s a great value.
