Nice old course
Greens and fairways very nice, well managed. But very narrow fairways. So if you have a bad hook or slice you have to rethink your game, but a course worth playing! I will go again.

Great place to work on your intermediate & short games. Who does not love Par 5s under 400yds! Tees, Fairways & Greens were in great shape

Nice Course
Good layout. A few holes on the back are rather tight. As with many courses, trouble was right in the duffer's wheelhouse. Greens a bit fast and didn't hold chip shots well. Would do well to trim back some overhanging oak trees. Would play again.

It was comfortable and the staff were very nice.
My wife/I, enjoyed playing at this golf course, we drove from Lady Lake FL, (which have a very good golf course) and we definitely will play at Southport again, we do like travelling to different golf course to experience the differences in course. Thanks for your service.

shorter yardage but challenging , greens in good shape
had alot of fun . You have to really keep them straight
on some of the par 4 s w/trees on both sides .
