The Links of Lake Bernadette enjoys verdant landscaping and a rolling terrain that are perfectly complemented by mature and towering pines. At 6,400 yards, the golf course is seemingly short but it feels like it plays much longer due to frequent doglegs that can be found throughout. Six of the par 4s play over 400 yards and a few par 3s measure over 200 yards, which also helps the course feel longer. Water hazards and bunkers come into play but they are balanced by large greens and wide fairways that make for easier approaches. Although beginners won't feel out of place and there are four different sets of tees, the golf course boasts several tricky holes that will challenge even the best players. One of these, the 163-yard 13th, was once called the best par 3 in Tampa Bay.

A Little Wet
At no fault of the course it was a little wet from recent rains. But we had a good time.
Soggy Situation
It was not a golf course but a swamp with some greens
tough to control the effects of the rain we have been getting
Course was in OK condition, given how much rain we have been getting, 4 inches in one day of many days of rain. Many courses in the area are unplayable. The only real issue was the 12th hole, which is probably the low point on the course, but the maintenance crew is doing everything possible, including creating a wooden cart path to avoid the truly wet spot on 12.
Swamp
The course was full of mud. Ponds overflowing. The drainage was abysmal.
Course should have been closed. It was so bad that some of the fairways looked like they were used for mudding with ATVs.
Great value for the money
Course was in really great condition, some wet spots, BUT, given the recent unusually heavy and frequent rain, it has drained very well.
Good course for price
Pace of play was ridiculously slow but mostly to inexperienced golfers thinking they could play the tips then slice a drive so far right it embarrassed republicans 😂. For the price, conditions, and overall layout this course is worth it. The greens don’t roll so every putt has to be hammered to make it. Been here at least 5 times and I intend to return very often.
A Dying Golf Course
I used to play this course a lot. It has been two years since I have played it, and the course has declined significantly. The cart paths are all cracked, very rough and being taken over by nature. There was no drinking water on the entire course (and this is Florida in the summer!). The entire course is very poorly maintained. Could not be more disappointed. I’d be very surprised if this course is still around in a year or two.
Challenging Course!!
This course has some challenging holes cool course to play once in awhile!! Hot Dogs are the best!
Very wet and soft
Course was very wet and soft. Grass on green was 1/2 tall. Many areas on course had not been cut. I get that sometimes conditions make it difficult, but let the customer know conditions are poor so they can go elsewhere.
Greens as furry as the fairway
Brother this course is normally pretty good but I felt like I was putting on the belly of a grizzly. Was torching putts and they were still coming up short.
