Links of Lake Bernadette
About
The Links of Lake Bernadette enjoys verdant landscaping and a rolling terrain that are perfectly complemented by mature and towering pines. At 6,400 yards, the golf course is seemingly short but it feels like it plays much longer due to frequent doglegs that can be found throughout. Six of the par 4s play over 400 yards and a few par 3s measure over 200 yards, which also helps the course feel longer. Water hazards and bunkers come into play but they are balanced by large greens and wide fairways that make for easier approaches. Although beginners won't feel out of place and there are four different sets of tees, the golf course boasts several tricky holes that will challenge even the best players. One of these, the 163-yard 13th, was once called the best par 3 in Tampa Bay.

This course is a great value for your money
I played here today for the first time and loved the course layout. For only $30, I had a prime tee time and was paired with a friendly group. The greens were recently aerated, but the fairways, bunkers, and tee boxes all seemed well-maintained for the price. I was very impressed and I will be back
Good Value
Course has a really good layout, but suffers from the same issue as most courses in this area, too many bare spots in the fairways ! Doesn't any course down here seed bare spots ? Do they believe these area will fill in on their own ?
It's not just this course, but is no excuse.
First play at LLB
It was a beautiful day. Warming up for my tee time when I noticed a couple foursomes moving from 18 to hole 1. Then I figured out there as a scramble in progress. First half of the round was extremely slow. Back nine was quicker after the scramble. Sure wish golf now stated a tournament was happening, I would have gone another day.
Will play here again.
Even though the weather felt like we were in a volcano (definitely can't fault the course for that obviously) this was one of the nicest places to visit. Yes the grass was a bit dry but give it some time to get rain and it's good to go. The pace of play was great there was a single that we let go by and besides him we didn't see another group until after we ate lunch on hole 10. The desk lady was pleasant. The course meandered through woods giving spots to cool down in the shade.
Cheap
Creative. Good place to learn the game for cheap money. money
Fun course but nothing exciting
The greens are inconsistent. This is great to play without anyone in front or behind you, laid back atmosphere overall. Also good course to meet other golfers. It’s a great backup course if your other one is full
Good track, good value
Played in the afternoon on Friday. I like the set up. Just like all the courses, it needs some rain. A few dry patches here and there. Still a great time.
This is a solid course especially for the money
Make the trip to this one. course is decently difficult but quiet nice surroundings. you will be glad you played. Only complaint was that the holes didn't seem cut recently but the greens were in decent shape and for the money there really is no complaint. I've played courses twice as much that is not in this condition.
Great Course For The Money
I've played here numerous times and always enjoy it. The layout is great, the staff is friendly, and they price it correctly. The course conditions are okay, you get what you pay for. Don't expect TPC conditions; it's not pristine but it's also not $200.
Value is the Word!
Price definitely defines this course. It is very much like a municipal course, Tee boxes were uneven and need care and greens were too thick which made for easily an increase in your score.
Terrible
Do not play this course no matter how cheap it is. Every single green is out grown and has sand in spots. The fairways were all muddy with patches and mud in spots. No Bev cart. The cart path does not have a single flat spot on it. Also no driving range. Would not recommend to anyone beginners or not!!!
First Time, Would Return
1st time playing this course and it was better than I expected. I would say that 75% of the course was in good condition, greens were very slow, needed to be cut. Disappointed that there was no water on the course, was ok that there was not a beverage cart but there should have been water on the course. Pace of play was good, very hard to play today without waiting a little bit. Overall, enjoyable day, would return, value for what we paid.
Great Golf, Nice people!
What I like the most about this course, is the people who play it. Every time I got paired with others, they are very kind and nice to play with. The pace is good without anyone getting disrespectful about other players taking more time (like everyone did at some point when they were learning). If someone is in a quicker pace, they just ask, like adult people used to do decades ago!
Good people enjoying the day of at the course!
