The Links of Lake Bernadette enjoys verdant landscaping and a rolling terrain that are perfectly complemented by mature and towering pines. At 6,400 yards, the golf course is seemingly short but it feels like it plays much longer due to frequent doglegs that can be found throughout. Six of the par 4s play over 400 yards and a few par 3s measure over 200 yards, which also helps the course feel longer. Water hazards and bunkers come into play but they are balanced by large greens and wide fairways that make for easier approaches. Although beginners won't feel out of place and there are four different sets of tees, the golf course boasts several tricky holes that will challenge even the best players. One of these, the 163-yard 13th, was once called the best par 3 in Tampa Bay.

Save your money!
We have played here 3 other times, and although a bit slow, the course OK. I will keep it short; if not a member find any course and it will be better than this. After 9 holes we decided enough was enough!
Played this course a bunch of times. It's a good value play for the money. The problem with the course is the greens are never in good condition. We know that is going to be the case when we book but it's inexpensive and the pace of play is usually very good. We just wish they would put some money into getting the greens in better condition.
First Time Experience
My first experience with a links style course and playing at this location, however it will not be my last. I throughly enjoyed the style of course and the shots I had to play. My only negative was the speed of play. Other than that its a nice little loop to geton the course and work thru your game.
Fun Course Around Lake Bernadette
First time playing here. Enjoyed it and only took thrre hours for 18 holes. They do need to rebuild some of the old concrete cart paths. New asphalt paths would be great!
SLOW
Able to start on the back 9 first because of 3 sets of women golfers going on front nine. By the time I got to the front 9 last few holes had to skip because play was to slow because of too many foursomes.
Course consitions
Fairways were very sparce and grees were full of crabgrass...some areas were very wet and soggy due to poor drainage.....
