The Links of Lake Bernadette enjoys verdant landscaping and a rolling terrain that are perfectly complemented by mature and towering pines. At 6,400 yards, the golf course is seemingly short but it feels like it plays much longer due to frequent doglegs that can be found throughout. Six of the par 4s play over 400 yards and a few par 3s measure over 200 yards, which also helps the course feel longer. Water hazards and bunkers come into play but they are balanced by large greens and wide fairways that make for easier approaches. Although beginners won't feel out of place and there are four different sets of tees, the golf course boasts several tricky holes that will challenge even the best players. One of these, the 163-yard 13th, was once called the best par 3 in Tampa Bay.

Love the course
The course was in pretty good shape and the pace was good. The staff was very friendly

Course improvements
Pleasantly surprised that the greens have been updated and roll pure and true . Still a wet course but improving.
Fair value
This course is in average condition, but the price is good. The course could be much better with a little TLC , like fixing the leaky sprinklers that have created wet muddy spots.
Getting better.
Played a few years ago greens shaggy course conditions suspect. Played recently greens nice shape cut nice back side was very nice.
Good layout. Needs some TLC
Overall a good course. Could be a great course with a little more effort. Greens and Tees were sort of rough. Tee markers were off the Tee box on all holes.
Slow but good burgers at turn
Course was nice, hilly and fun to play but the pace was really slow, our slowest of 10 rounds this Fall so far. Ordered Cheeseburgers at the turn, $8 each and really good.

This course is better than ever this year

Not worth playing a second time
Tee boxes are all bad except for one, greens have weeds and bunkers are crap. Pace of play was terrible as had to wait on every hole. Not a pretty course at all and seems run down. Never played a par three before where you had no view of the green ! They have one! Definitely won’t come back.

Could be good
The layout and fairways were the best features of the course. Most tee boxes were good but some were not flat. The fairways looked brown but were grass cover and good lies. The greens were different story. They held approach shots well, but the speed was as slow or slower than the fringes. The grass was long on the greens and that caused slow putts even downhill. They were almost impossible to putt as there were many bumps of grass and putts would go left or right depending on what it bumped not how the green breaks. I would return but would ask the green speeds before I came back.
Nice course, Great value
Course weathered the recent storms in pretty good shape.
Fairways are typically wide open; Greens fast and at times difficult to read-a miss can end up farther away from where you started!
