Silverado Golf & Country Club
About
Silverado Golf & Country Club is situated just north of Tampa in scenic Zephyrhills. It is a par-71 layout but for low handicappers, it can be extended to a par 72 by turning the lengthy 10th hole into a challenging par 4. The area's natural beauty is defined by the mature oaks that date back over 100 years and the abundant wildlife, including red tail hawks, geese, and foxes. The landscape provides an excellent round of golf, which is further enhanced by the year-round temperate climate. Bunkers treacherously lurk throughout and the occasional water hazard also comes into play. The golf course offers some challenging holes but overall, it is approachable for a range of skill levels. Silverado finishes with a par 4 that requires a difficult carry in order to make it past the pond in the middle of the fairway. Those who strategize carefully will be rewarded with a birdie.

Excellent Value
This course is in great shape. Mature trees and water make it visually outstanding. Good challenge for mid handicap players.
Great round
Played Saturday afternoon. Course was in fine shape. Greens are a bit slow., But true. Course was not crowded at all. Will play there again.
Great price, good course.
Great hot deal price before noon. Ran into a couple of sloooww foursomes, but overall a 4 hr round.
Five-somes are allowed and they really do not care what the pace is. Ranger was not helpful.
Tees, fairways and greens in good shape after over-seeding. Will play again before the snowbirds arrive.
Course has both good and bad
Average to below average conditions. Greens very slow. Tees very furry but they have recently been reseeded and should be in excellent condition going forward. Very flat. Some open holes, some narrow. Beautiful oaks throughout the property.
Great course
Everyone at this course was as friendly and courteous as they could have been. From the incredibly personable pro (who invited us into his office to view photos of another course in the area) to the starter who arranged for us to play with one of their regulars, everyone that we encountered was just.... Nice.
The course was in fine condition with little of the damage that we've seen at other courses in the area. We came here because of the good reviews that we had seen on Golf Now and we weren't disappointed. We will come back whenever we are in the area.
great round
played round in 3 hours. 2 twosomes let us play thru which was nice. Ranger was on course and was doing his job moving play along. played with one other person whose game matched mine. play here all the time, starting to overseed but is no problem..
Great shape greens were rollin like a caddie on dubs
Good Friday
Zephyrhills gets a lot of rain so 3 holes were cart path only. Tea boxes and Fairways when I hit them looked good. I like the course layout I played with two other guys one said he didn't like the layout. I played a little better than my + 23 so it was a good day.
like the layout
plenty of shade, fairways are in good shape. aerated the greens 3 weeks ago and are getting better. usually golf here 2 to 3 times a week as this is the best course in the Zephyrhills area.
Overall
Course was good and greens were good cart path terrible in need of much repair. some tee colors were confusing at first but need updated.
silverado golf course
one of the nicer course's close to Zephyrhills. started golfing first time this past November. golf 3 times a week with Silverado usually 2 times a week. we've had lots of rain the pat 2 months and the course has remained very playable.
Nice Lsyout
Always enjoy this course. Great layout it was quite wet because we have had lots of rain. But play was good. Greens were good.
Getting Better!
I was surprised and delighted. These are the best conditions I have seen here in the 2 1/2 years I have been playing here.
This course has drained beautifully after heavy rains for a couple of days. The ponds are swollen but the fairways are great. The greens are a little slow, but that is to be understood. I hope it will stay like this for a while.
This is not a difficult course and even the duffers should play well here.
Always a fun course
Have played this course a few times. Always a treat. Many tee choices.
