About
Silverado Golf & Country Club is situated just north of Tampa in scenic Zephyrhills. It is a par-71 layout but for low handicappers, it can be extended to a par 72 by turning the lengthy 10th hole into a challenging par 4. The area's natural beauty is defined by the mature oaks that date back over 100 years and the abundant wildlife, including red tail hawks, geese, and foxes. The landscape provides an excellent round of golf, which is further enhanced by the year-round temperate climate. Bunkers treacherously lurk throughout and the occasional water hazard also comes into play. The golf course offers some challenging holes but overall, it is approachable for a range of skill levels. Silverado finishes with a par 4 that requires a difficult carry in order to make it past the pond in the middle of the fairway. Those who strategize carefully will be rewarded with a birdie.

Overall good value
Course is in the best shape in years ...Greens are good fairways are coming along
Great conditions
Course was in great condition and greens were in excellent shape. Somewhat challenging course and but was fun to navigate.
Very decent golf course!
For the price this place is great. Greens a little slower than some but not terrible, rolled quite smooth. Fairways a little thin in areas but playable. Will definitely be back with friends.
Better shape than last time
Huge improvement. ...but there are better courses around for 40$ ...get golf now for deals
Slow greens
Well kept course, but greens were very slow. Most of the rangers were friendly and helpful, then this worker drove by and accused me of holding up the course by ball hawking while the next group was waiting, while in reality our group had decided to let this group play through us and we were waiting for them to hit, Ruined the round for me , we won't come back .
Course is in great shape
Three of us played a round today and the tee boxes and fairways are in excellent shape. The greens are immaculate and it's nice to play on a course where the ball rolls true on the greens.
Holiday trip
My wife and I have been here for a couple of weeks and have played 10 rounds of golf at 10 different courses. We found this one to be the best fit for our game. The pace was slow. There was a couple of foursomes holding up play. They definitely need a course Marshall or ranger to move along play. We will definitely play it again. The starter was very friendly and accommodating.
Overall
The course is in pretty good shape...but the pace of play was brutal ...they told us about a tournament ahead of us prior to our tee time ...but we were told they played fast ...one of our guys left after the front ...he was disgusted ...Staff is excellent and everyone was friendly
It was a beautiful afternoon, just great for a round of golf. The course is in excellent shape. It was not busy so the pace of play was great. A wonderful way to spend the afternoon.
