Silverado Golf & Country Club

About
Silverado Golf & Country Club is situated just north of Tampa in scenic Zephyrhills. It is a par-71 layout but for low handicappers, it can be extended to a par 72 by turning the lengthy 10th hole into a challenging par 4. The area's natural beauty is defined by the mature oaks that date back over 100 years and the abundant wildlife, including red tail hawks, geese, and foxes. The landscape provides an excellent round of golf, which is further enhanced by the year-round temperate climate. Bunkers treacherously lurk throughout and the occasional water hazard also comes into play. The golf course offers some challenging holes but overall, it is approachable for a range of skill levels. Silverado finishes with a par 4 that requires a difficult carry in order to make it past the pond in the middle of the fairway. Those who strategize carefully will be rewarded with a birdie.

Greens were in good shape but need cutting.
Greens were good but the fairways could use a little work. Overall, not a bad course to play.
5 hours. No ranger.
Teed off at 2 and couldn’t finish due to unbelievably slow play. Greens and course are improving. Seem to be putting some money into the place.
Ok
Enjoyable place to play. Greens are slow and a few fairways are bare with a little grass. Playing the senior t's makes it enjoyable for us older folks.
Silverado
Awesome bent grass greens in top notch condition! Overall the course was in very good condition for late January!
Greens were in very good shape
The greens and tee blocks were in excellent shape. The fairways were spotty but over all a good course to play.
The poor man’s country club.”In a good way.”
The maintenance of this course is on par with much more expensive courses in the area. The clubhouse is what you’d expect, but the food is amazing. The driving range is natural grass though I’d like to see more yardage markers, but all in all for the price, it can’t be beat. That’s why it’s always busy.
