About
Silverado Golf & Country Club is situated just north of Tampa in scenic Zephyrhills. It is a par-71 layout but for low handicappers, it can be extended to a par 72 by turning the lengthy 10th hole into a challenging par 4. The area's natural beauty is defined by the mature oaks that date back over 100 years and the abundant wildlife, including red tail hawks, geese, and foxes. The landscape provides an excellent round of golf, which is further enhanced by the year-round temperate climate. Bunkers treacherously lurk throughout and the occasional water hazard also comes into play. The golf course offers some challenging holes but overall, it is approachable for a range of skill levels. Silverado finishes with a par 4 that requires a difficult carry in order to make it past the pond in the middle of the fairway. Those who strategize carefully will be rewarded with a birdie.

Slowest greens around and the pace of play is even slower
They need to group tee times better. I’m pretty sure there was supposed to be someone with me but with no starter they just kinda let everybody do whatever they want. Also the restaurant is slow and they boasted their new menu. I didn’t get something “new” just got chicken tenders which they were like all completely different types and textures but frozen not fresh for sure and one tasted like freezer burn. Horrible… I’d love my money back but probably won’t happen. Also the tee boxes are cut taller than the rough and the greens are slower than the fairways
Course conditions
Does anyone repair ball marks at this course or what ?
5th time here this year ...been fixing 6 marks or more on every green and there are loads to fix besides these ...come on people
Playing by myself
Course was in decent shape. The folks there were pretty friendly and after hearing horror stories on how the ranger kept telling folks to pick up the pace. I did not see any of that, when I played. I also read that the greens were slow but i felt they had a good pace to them, but I did notice that all the greens did not run the same speed. Some were slowly than others but that is understandable. I came in as a single and was told a 2some would be joining me, that never happened. I played as a single and stayed behind a 3some who was behind a 4some. I must say it wasn't that bad, played in 4 hours, playing behind the 3some. I did notice, we need to drive off the course to get to the next hole on a hole or two, there is very little signage to show you which way to go. Maybe it's a HOA thing seeing we drive in the neighborhood. I would and will play here again.

Play it you will enjoy it. Greens a little bit slow. Fairways are fine. A lot of players. Expect a slow round.
Good Challenge and Fun
Course layout was and is always the challenge. Possibly due to rain, greens were slower at an 8. Overall good time
Silverado
I really enjoy this course year round. It gets very busy during the winter months, so it just takes lot of patience for the slower play. Course itself was in very good condition for the amount of rain that we’ve had recently.
Front desk old lady doesn't have any respect and does not know how to treat customers. She lost my reservation because she doesn't understand how Golk Now works.
Course good for a return to play more rounds
Course was wet in some places but was roped where it was wet excellent condition greens were good
Nice track for the money
The green entrance and green playing area are in top shape.
The f general layout is challenging and fun to play.
