Tilden Park Golf Course

Tilden Park was a pleasant experience considering the cost. Having played Florida Courses for the past 20 year, the elevation change at Tilden, combined with the green landscape was visually striking. The course is well maintained and green; which is surprising considering the present drought conditions. The greens are smooth and true; but somewhat on the slow side. My only negative comment is the course is not well marked (hole #, yardage, navigation arrows to next hole). Regardless, I can’t wait to go back and play it.

We teed off at 6:00 am and we thought the pace of play would have been good, but it took almost 6 hours to play. The pace of play was terrible and the conditions for 6 am were clear. The weather was perfect to where you could see SF.

The greens were in ok good condition but the fairways definitely need help.

When we made the turn at 9:00 am the food wasn’t available but there was a guy there eating with other employees. . I would advise that they open the food shack at least 2 hours after the first group goes out.

We played and right when we left one of my buddies accidently left his range finder on the cart. We called literally 30 minutes after and they said it wasn’t there. We called multiple times to see if someone had turned it in but they did not. We were the 4th group out and when we parked the golf cart it was back in the cart barn so no other golfer could have seen it. Definitely know that they are not honest at Tilden. This is very sad considering this a sport of integrity. Where is Tilden’s management and employee integrity?

Nice course, beautiful scenery, and great price. 30 dollars for this course is a steal.

Love the layout and the course itself. Tee Boxes, bunkers, and fairways were good. Greens slow and long. Buddy is playing in a tournament there soon, and I hope they quicken them up before then.

Groups of children and skins players should be planned early or late in the day to improve the far below average pace of play. Bare spots around greens and in the fairway make the course unacceptable.

The only positive thing I can say is the snack shack was great. The course was not in good shape. Not one tee box has grass :( tee times were to close and they had a tournament going on. :(

My recommendations: If I owned the course I would invest a few bucks into some adequate ball washers. There should be one on each hole not one every third hole. Also they should be ball washers that actually work and have some water in them. I would also repaint the 200, 150 and 100 yard markers. Some of them are badly faded.

The greens are in pretty good condition as well as the fairways.

Great day for golf and the conditions perfect! pace of play great and the greens a little slow but in great condition! Tildon is always a great place to play!!!!

It shouldn’t be that difficult to have a working ball washer on every hole. 2. Please repaint the 200, 150, and 100 yard markers. Many of them have faded badly.

Good job on the greens and the fairways are looking better than they used to.

I’ve played Tilden a dozen times it’s always a great time, tight challenging course so scenic, fantastic layout and the greens were in beautiful shape! Just so far out of the way…. But a beautiful drive…. Can’t wait to play it again!

Excellent pace for a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Never had to wait very long and was mainly playing golf instead of complaining about the group ahead.

Check in was easy and friendly. No attitude and made me feel like a regular. Prices at snack bar/cafe are very reasonable, tasty hot dogs.

Here are my recommendations: 1.Replace the ball washers.

2.Repaint the 200, 150 and 100 yard markers.

The greens and fairways are in better condition than they were a year ago.
