Tilden Park Golf Course

….greens are in good shape. Overall, worth the time and money to play there.

Had not played the course for many years. Fun to replay after 40+ years. But I thought the price was very high for the course play. Misleading online and then you have to pay for the cart as well. THey should include cart so players know the true cost on a Saturday.

I played Tilden this morning at 6:30am. I never waited on the group ahead of us. The greens were in great condition. This course has some unforgettable holes, like No. 3,4,and 5 and 6 were my favorites. i also really enjoyed 11 and 12 as well.

Pretty setting with enormous trees lining every fairway.

Geese season many geese around the water area.

I had a very relaxing walking round.

I wasn’t able to make my tee time as my wife was severely sick and had to go to the emergency room at 4:00 am.

Did not leave hospital until 10:00 so couldn’t make tee time.

I called the course and explained my situation. Asked him if I was still going to be charged and he said it was up to golf now

I tried to cancel on line at golf now website but was declined because it was too late.

I really believe that because of the situation I should not be charged.

I really do want to play the course at another time but will not consider if I am going to be charged

Course was generally in good shape, green all very good, the only complaint was slow play. Would definitely recommend to my friends.

The greens need attention. I know you there is a problem. Please try to fix it.

A beautiful challenging layout. Conditions are a little sub-par right now , but I give them a pass since this course has been slammed solid since COVID-19. A lot of people riding carts all over the place and not fixing divot marks etc.. impossible to keep up.

My only complaint is the pin placements, there were 2 that were on a completely impossible slope, if you didn't make the putt it would roll 15 feet away, minimum. That is unfair, if I make a specail approach to within 8 feet and have a fast putt breaking 10 inches, I should be able to at least make a par if I miss the bird, I'm pretty sure the placements are against the rules.

But this is still one of my favorite places to play, a great value.

Very tight and lots of hills. Can play long, especially on cold days with 20mph winds.

This course will test your tee shot accuracy and iron game from different slopes.

Greens can be bumpy and tough to read, but still offers great practice on your entire game.

Plus, $25 for walking green fees on the weekdays is an absolute deal for Bay Area.

Good restaurant / bar and friendly staff.

Pretty dry conditions right now, ball is rolling! Great afternoon round, it wasn’t super fast at first but sped up after the first 5 holes. Limited food & beverage which was weak, but it’s understandable. Greens were decently quick but slightly still recovering from aeration. By now they are probably perfect. Always like coming back to Tilden

The greens were coming along after sanding. Overall it’s in okay shape. I just don’t like the no smoking policy as I like to enjoy a cigar or two whole playing golf.
