Food & BeverageReviews
It was a fun little chip-n-putt course, the greens are pretty small so it’s challenging. the greens were in decent shape and it was a bit moist in the am so they were pretty slow but overall great value
Cool vibe
Like the title says, cool vibe all the way around. I read a few reviews and it was pretty much as advertised. Pulled up in the parking lot. As I started to get my things together, a handsome cat came up to greet me. I'm a cat guy so, this was not a bad thing. I ran into a couple more cats before I left. It gives the place a "touch of home" feel and it didn't end there. As I entered, I bumped into a lovely lady that was vacuuming. It was as if she were vacuuming her living room. A personal touch that resonated with me. I was eventually led to Cliff who was very friendly and pointed us in the right direction to start our round.
It was my second time playing a course ever, but perfect for me and will continue to be good for my game. This is a miniature course that challenges your short game. You better pick the right club and control it or say, hello to the trees and bushes and good bye to your ball. The layout is perfect for such a small footprint. The course is surrounded by forest. It's a borderline jungle so, grounds crews definitely have challenge and understandable why it's not worth testing Mother Nature. She's going to win.
After the round, you can make your way inside for a beer or try your skills on the pool table. Yes, a pool table. There is a range in back. I did not get a chance to partake but, eventually I will. Everyone wants to bomb golf balls with their driver on a 500 yard hole but the vibe here is so cool and the course will sharpen you short game. This place is a gem.
Buying Part
You will only reserve when you buy online, when you buy you will have to purchase access to the course upon arrival. They mentioned you could go in person and avoid the online reservation fee but for first timers it was new. It is a good course overall and staff is super friendly and helpful.
Course is improving
Greens are much improved
Some pruning of tree branches would help playability of holes
Par 3 course
Much improved over last time I played. Greens are much better.
Hope they can make greens bigger.
Perfect course for beginer!
This pitch and putt course is great for a beginner getting into the game. The staff were very friendly and the price was reasonable. We will be back to continue our practice!
Uhhhh….
Staff was very nice, so many kittys it’s a cute touch.
Really tough pitch and putt…the greens are SLOW. So many branches and stuff in the way of the already narrow paths…last 2 holes cross eachother which is weird and dangerous, but nobody else was around so that was fine.
Definitely worth what we paid for.
Great pitch and putt
This course was great for working on the short game. They let is play as long as we wanted and it was perfect for my 11 year old. Adults could get through with a sand were and putter. I am definitely going back soon.
Fun little course.
Cheap and short and weirdly difficult. It's very short distances, less than 100 yards for most holes. There's lots of overhangs and tiny greens and narrow pathways and deep slopes. It's actually really attractive, with lots of redwoods and blackberry bushes.
People are mostly here for the dive bar or the driving range. But for the price I thought it was pretty cool. I enjoyed it more than other pitch and putt's I've played.
It’s a “golf course”
Tee boxes are not grass but mats. Greens are absurdly small, bumpy and weird. The tree line encroaches the fairway that a straight shot may still get hung up by branches. I’ve played plenty of executive courses but this was funky. Staffer was kinda rude when checking in. I was the only person on the “course” because the locals clearly know this place is best used for the bar and the driving range. 2 stars because the area rug sized greens were at least green.
Great Local Chip and Putt, and Driving Range
It's a hole in a wall facility, in the best way possible. Locals congregate here for the neighborhood driving range. And, the bar & restaurant is steps away from the 2 tier stalls. The "course" is a short chip and putt (40-80 yd). It's a good test for your short game because of the small greens and shruby hills. I hesitate to write this since it's such a great local hidden gem.
