Great layout, ok conditions
Very tight and lots of hills. Can play long, especially on cold days with 20mph winds.
This course will test your tee shot accuracy and iron game from different slopes.
Greens can be bumpy and tough to read, but still offers great practice on your entire game.
Plus, $25 for walking green fees on the weekdays is an absolute deal for Bay Area.
Good restaurant / bar and friendly staff.
Still a good spot
Pretty dry conditions right now, ball is rolling! Great afternoon round, it wasn’t super fast at first but sped up after the first 5 holes. Limited food & beverage which was weak, but it’s understandable. Greens were decently quick but slightly still recovering from aeration. By now they are probably perfect. Always like coming back to Tilden
TP golf course is an okay course
The greens were coming along after sanding. Overall it’s in okay shape. I just don’t like the no smoking policy as I like to enjoy a cigar or two whole playing golf.
Generally a great, easygoing course but stuck behind super slow group
Love this course - relatively easy to get tee times, course is nice and well-kept. This round however, we got stuck I behind an insanely slow group who spent 10 minutes every hole wandering around looking for balls - we actually weren’t that bothered, but the group behind us was in some sort of rush (asked us why we weren’t teeing off when the group before us was clearly still in the middle of the fairway) and being stuck in between them was pretty unpleasant.

Tilden course review
Keep your ball on the fairway theres plenty of hazards. This is a short but challenging course and it is walkable although number one and number nine are a bit steep uphill. They make a good and reasonably priced hamburger too.

This course is fun and challenging to play. The forest setting is beautiful.
Not very many people but slow
Course has nice layout they need to not let people drive in fairways when they are wet ! Over all place is nice . Plays slow
Worst ever
Tilden had the greens were plugged and sanded. Didn’t know that when I made my starting time with Golf Now. Maybe I’ll play in September.
Not impressed
Full price for 17 holes. Makes shift hole with a patch off closely mown grass for a green. This hole was soft due to being in the shadows of large trees. The make shift green was terrible to try to putt on. Was fist tee time and this makeshift green was full of holes and foot prints and deep spike marks. Not to mention that it’s a down hill 87 yard par 3 that’s replacing a 350 yard par 4. What a joke. Staff was very unfriendly and rude.
Tough course
Tilden is my home course. I think it is one of the most challenging courses around. It is a mountain course and difficult to play.
