Poor management
This course is poorly managed and everything is out of control. So disappointed...

Customer service is not just bad but not completely lost on this staff. New course, same diamond bar. Don't recommend.
Weekend Golfer
It was great to finally be able to golf at Diamond Bar especially after the renovations. The course was in good shape and the weather has started to dry the fairways but overall in good shape. The greens you can tell have recently been punched and are healing a little to firm for me but good overall. The bunkers we good as there is sand in them and not to bad. Now for the not so good to begin no cart girl nor the snack shop open at the 10th hole. Now the pace was terrible as we were stuck behind 2 foursomes that were very slow and I'm being nice. The marshal needs to enforce the pace of play and we saw him a couple of times but the pace did not improve.
Solid for the price
***Note: the practice putting greens are not the same as the course greens (different types of grass). This will make it difficult to get the speed correct on the first few holes when I have my tournament here in a few weeks.
Greens are young and firm, mid/long irons roll out, wedges don’t spin back much.
Tee boxes & bunkers are decent, fairways are super patchy but firm. Hope that you draw a good lie.
Not a bad deal for $21 walking rate at 4pm
Diamond Bar Re-Opened
Diamond Bar Golf Course holds a special place in my heart, as it's where I first ventured onto a regulation course and honed my skills as a local golfer. However, despite my fond memories, one persistent issue remains: the tendency to overcrowd the course, leading to frustratingly slow play even on weekdays. Unfortunately, this aspect hasn't seen improvement over the years.
While the distant hum of freeway traffic is a constant presence, it's usually easy to tune out—unless, of course, a passing car decides to disrupt your concentration with a blaring horn mid-swing. Nevertheless, the recent renovations and improvements to the course layout and conditions have breathed new life into Diamond Bar.
Almost every hole boasts a fresh new green, and significant changes have been made to the entire front nine, injecting excitement and challenge into each round. Despite the occasional hiccup, such as the persistent issue of slow play, my overall experience was positive.
Special mention must go to Brandon, the friendly bartender at the lounge, whose warmth and hospitality added to the enjoyment of my visit. In conclusion, I would recommend Diamond Bar Golf Course to fellow golfers who possess patience and are willing to tolerate some waiting time for a rewarding and enjoyable round of golf.
Welcome back.
DBGC is back open. Been 3 years? Lot of work went in to the place to shift it away from the freeway etc. Some holes have been modified, but most of the course remain. Some new bunkers too.
Not bad! Need about another month for the greens to come in a bit more.
Just wish they could build a dirt berm or sound walls to block the freeway a little but we know that ain’t happening. So that’s the only drawback as everybody knows. The layout is fun and challenging, typical County golf course.
The Kikuyu was fresh and very tough, like hitting off bristle brushes! Made it interesting.
But why are people so lazy to RAKE the bunkers??? It’s seriously unconscionable
