It was a Great Time!
The greens need a little work and to catch up pace of play. Staff very friendly the driving range was dramatically nice. Overall good fairways and good time would go back.
Great value
Wide fairways well maintained greens and perfectly challenging
Only issue was no cart service and the Marshalls were lax with pace of play. We tee'd off at 8:48 and was done at 2pm
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Little slow
Course doesn’t appear kept up. Greens very bumpy but fast. Many fairway lies not much grass under the ball. On hole 10 (par 3) was 5 groups at one point. But actually for a sat slow but not crazy slow. 4:40 But I’d play it again for the price I’m not complaining just hope in the spring / summer they get it in better shape.

Was not told of early closing, only got in 15 holes with another 35 minutes of daylight left.
Greens had good grass, but not maintained and extremely rough!

Great Course
This course has a great layout from all the tees! It’s also picturesque with rolling hills. We always enjoy playing here.

Fun Course but very fast greens
I enjoy this course and play it often, most of the times the greens run very fast. There has been times that the greens are perfect in the speed. The layout gives you some challenge and they fairways are getting in much better condition. I would recommend this course to friends as it is a great value for the challenge you have to deal with on the round of play. Over all Enjoyed the play.

Need a new greens keeper
Great layout that lost the TLC to manage the course conditions a few years ago. Too many greens had major damage.

Poor Customer Service and Poor Course Condition
We won’t be coming back to this golf course! We were given a cart without a GPS (and he knew it). Poor management and poor customer service. The course is run down and not in good shape. Stay away from The Golf Club at Rancho California. What a bad experience we had!

Terrible Shape
Went to play with my girlfriend on MLK day. I played here 10+ years ago and it was a good challenge and in great shape. This time very disappointing. On the range, we were hitting balls and attendant comes up and says to move forward a couple of feet to hit between the ropes. My bad, but I look between ropes and there is nothing by dirt/mud, and "she says yeah sorry not much grass". On the course the conditions of the fairway and rough were terrible. I had to bump the ball on 80% of my shots to ensure I could get it airborne. Greens were quick and in decent shape.
Disappointed with conditions and won't play here again.

Rancho California
A generally well run course that could use some small enhancements to make it -really- nice.
The course itself was in really good shape. No dead spots, good bunkers, good looking tee boxes, etc.
Some amenities were lacking such as ball washers with water. No water coolers on the course. Many bunkers on the back 9 were missing rakes for some reason. On course bathrooms could use some maintenance as they're a bit run-down. Small details...but details make the experience.
Definitely a good value in the Temecula area.
