Executive at Vista Valencia Golf Course

Some long par 3s and short ones that are have many sand traps. They have 7 very challenging par 4s. Took only 3 1/4 hours to play with a slower 4some a head of us. Fairways were firm and green. Greens were average. All the staff were very pleasant with us.

Tee Boxes need alot of work ,,starter should know it is not against the law to smile...pace of play for executive course is way to slow..

On a whim it's works for a last minute tee time don't expect to finish anytime soon. A place where novice go to play. I have had numerous conversations with personal as to why no (ambassadors) are out making sure people fix there divots on the green. Response being well they payed for the round we can't do anything about it. If they put a marshal on the first two holes to monitor the play they could easily rid the new golfers of some bad habits, and speed up play. Play it forward posted everywhere but being the honor system and no one to implement the concept.

Vista Valencia is an executive course (par 61) and it is cheap. I think they do a decent job maintaining it for what it is.

If you know how to play at all the pace of play and the way the staff faces with you will be frustrating. Becuase they have beginners on the course, they will tell you to repair your ball marks etc. Some of the guys in the pro shop need to relax. They tend to treat the players like children (many of them are chldren). They need to move slower players along.

Beware the driving range is often closed in the morning.

I had a great time on this course. Price was great, course was challenging in the right spots and most importantly I had a great time with a great score. Definitely will be back.

Friendly atmosphere to play a good round of golf with the friends.

It was hot, but gave us fun to play. The course was challenging though not long.

I don't usually play executive courses but I'm glad I gave this one a shot. Nice place to get a quick practice round in, our twosome finished in under 3 hours. Some long par 4's and numerous approaches into elevated greens made things more interesting and challenging. Fairways were in good shape, greens were in really good shape. Beautiful par 3 #17 onto island green will make you think of TPC Sawgrass. Will play again.

This course has improved significantly, in both the overall condition, value and pace of play. We played at 1pm and payed 23$ each with cart ! The staff is friendly and courteous. In addition they had a marshall refilling water bottles for players from his cart. This course gets an insane amount of play, due to the rates, and the use it gets from the local high school programs, and camps, which makes the conditions impressive. Great place for beginners, and women.

Executive course with a handful of very short par 3s. Pace of play was great and the course was in pretty good shape. Great deal for a Sunday afternoon at a local golf course.

Live 1.5 miles from this course. Have played it at least 100 times.

Fairways are in good condition this time of year, but they do not keep fairways green during winter/early spring months and you will be hitting off dirt or dormant brown grass.

Lots of water around the course....and it is disgusting! Off a few holes, there can be a strong stench. Water is green from either alge or duck droppings. Most of the time, there is no water movement to help circulate. So sad considering the water could be a nice visual addition to this course. The picture of this course shows their island green. Water NOT like what is shown. I hope this review spurs Vista to do something, but I can bet they hear this complaint on a daily basis.

Greens now are in very good shape.

Played most recently in under 4 hours, but did leave the course about one month ago after playing 9 holes in over 2.5 hours.

Remember, this is an executive course and not very long. About 4600 yards.

Be careful when booking after men's or women's clubs go out. You could be in for a long day.

All this said, you can walk the course for $12 if you buy their senior card. Cart's run $10 per person.

Excellent driving range along with two putting greens.

Bar on site along with a small menu. Decent pro shop with very helpful and friendly staff.

Little V is almost always over crowded & always overpriced for what you get...

Fun course puts a premium on iron shots. Greens can be tricky so prepare to play. Staff was courteous , friendly and helpful. We moved along at a good pace. Relaxing inviting snack bar area for sandwiches and short orders. Ray was great. Overall you will find every element needed for a fun day at the course.

The lay out of the course was nice, but the ground and fairways need a lot of work. The greens were in great shape.

Went out 6:30 and greens still kind of wet but by the end of the round the were rolling fast and true , fairways were in very nice shape as well, but its a tough little short course great to practice some short shots.

It is obvious that the greens are receiving greater attention compared to recent years. Someone has done an excellant job upgrading the surfaces. The fairways are being punched right now. They could use some serious attention. The pace of play can be a bit slow and I've never seen a marshall encourage anyone to keep up with the pace of play. This is a fun little course and I enjoy playing there when it isn't crowded.

A convenient location and well kept course keeps me coming back. The GolfNow discount allows me to play more frequently, all pluses!

Wouldn't pay more then $25 for this course as it's really just an extended executive course. Nobody kept tabs on start time and caused a hold up of 4 groups by the 8th hole. Nice, well maintained course but not worth more then $25.
