Executive at Vista Valencia Golf Course

We booked our tee time for 3:15. The course had a tournament earlier in the day that played really slow so we didn't tee off until 4:15. I would have left and not played but I booked on lina and would have had to pay anyway. We only were able to play 9 holes

Course conditions are a little dry on the fairways and worn. The cart paths are in good shape and the course is clean all around. The driving range is large and though full all the time you never feel crowded on it. There's a chipping green and a challenging putting green. The greens were in great shape. If you book after noon chances are you will be following large groups and usually unskilled players. When we book early we finish the course in 3 1/2 hours. Whenever we book past noon we finish in 4 1/2 hours. Needless to say there is a lot of wait time. This by no means is the golf courses fault. This was just my expereince on Sunday. You really get to use your driver. You really get to chip. And the Par 3's are some of the most challenging and fun. The views and setting are great to enjoy.

If the course maintenance team were set loose, perhaps the course would not be do dry.

The course had decent maintenance. However, the biggest disappointment was the pace of play on the golf course. It took over 4 1/2 hours to finish the round. This pace of play is too long for an executive type of course (less than 4400 yards) as oppose to a full length course. Even more frustrating is seeing the ambassador (marshall) driving around and not properly controlling the pace of play for everybody. For instant, there was a group playing ahead of us that had a total of 7 players! There shouldn't be more than 5 players in a group at most. As a result, we ended up finishing the last two holes while playing in the dark! I do want to note that this was on a Sunday afternoon. I'm not sure how the pace of play is on a weekday.

Vista Valencia has great potential. However, the course requires a lot of attention, i.e. the condition of the fairways is very poor even taking into consideration that it is winter. We played on a Saturday before noon. The greens had not been cleaned of debris, let alone been mowed. I doubt the greens here are rarely rolled. So, even though we got a discounted fee with a cart the round was not that great of a value. There is little help from the staff to improve slow play.

Had a very entertaining day at Vista Valencia. The greens on this course are very well maintained, they are in pristine condition. What's cool about this course is that there are many little lakes and ponds as well as flocks of birds roaming around on certain holes. Made for a great day out, the fairways were in good condition, and the holes were challenging enough for me! Staff was super friendly and there is a nice little deli/snack bar inside to reload on your way to the back nine. I would definitely play here again!

A very pleasant coarse with no distractions. Place is very well kept.

Its hard to find another executive course that challenges your game the way Vista Valencia does.

The greens are in good shape, couldn't really ask for anything else at the present rates.

We like a lot because is near home, people is gentle and the course is beautifull

I brought some friends to play and they had such a good time; we'll do it again.

This course is small but chanllanging course.
The staffs are excellent! They make you feel welcome.

The course is great, short but enables me to use all my clubs in my bag..from driver to short irons. This course makes me a better player. I play here all the time because it serves as my training ground. It enhances my golf skills.

The fairways were in very good shape. The greens were rolling beautifully. The tee boxes could use some work. The only problem was the 17th was closed for a movie shoot. We were informed before paying so cudos to the staff. However, it was still very disappointing arriving to the whole knowing it was unplayable. Overall, another great day at Vista V!

Vista Valencia is a decent course. But like many others, there are some areas of improvement that would make it good. First, continued maintenance of the greens and surrounding rough areas. If the greens were better kept, this course would move from a 6 on the scale to an easy 8 out of 10. Play can be to slow at times, but if you catch a good tee time, your average round should take no longer than 2 or 2.5 hours. Nice par 3’s that force you to be fairly accurate. Overall this a solid place to work on your game.

it is what it is! Not great but not bad! lots of fun. but it is no Robinson ranch! I recommend if you are a hacker this is the course for you!

I play Vista Valencia twice a month ( when work doesn't get in the way ) , usually the course is in good conditions, challenging enough for a high handicapper like me ( my average score is 90 ), in my opinion a very good Municipal course. i usually play on Monday mornings, so speed of play is pretty good.
