slow play
they let a fivesome play ahead of us,who were really slow players and they would not let us play through.
Bunkers
The course was in great shape as usual. However, the bunkers need some help. The sprinklers around them seem to be draining into them causing mud. The bunkers that weren’t muddy were that clumpy sand.
Great course
First time playing this course and couldn’t have asked for a better round. The course is in 8/10 shape. Did not see any dry spots in the fairways. Rough was manageable. Greens had been sanded but rolled true. Wish the course was a bit greener for the price I payed on a Saturday but still worth it to try out the course. It lived up to the expectations I got after hearing about the course from another individual.
Golf 6-5-22
I thought the course was in great shape. The greens were true to the role and every tough. The combo tees were just right for my friends and I in our handicaps. Great time great laughs
Challenging
But of a challenge when winds are up. Still a great course.
Needed the marshal
Fun round, Awesome course layout. Bunkers need sand otherwise course in really good shape.
Play was slow. Needed the marshal to move groups along quicker.
I Love this Course, But not This Time
I have been playing The Reserve for over twenty years, and it is one of my absolute favorite courses. However, when we recently played the course, the conditions for the "average" golfer were a bit much. I consider myself to be a good golfer, but I really struggled with the length of the rough, the speed of the greens ,and the inconsistency of the traps. I realize that we had just played after the course had been set-up for an NCAA Regional Tournament and I'm sure that it played fine for players of that level. But for someone simply going out to enjoy a round of golf, the conditions were anything but enjoyable. I'm hoping that this was an anomaly, and that the course will once again be reset for those who are just wanting to play a fun round of golf on an very special course. I will certainly play The Reserve again, and my hopes are that it will once again be "friendly" for those of us with minus handicaps.
