Fantastic golf course

Great course layout, right level of challenge. The course is in great condition. The greens were sanded, not punched. The ball rolled fine, it’s that time for golf course maintenance. Played 18 in a group of four in under 4 hours, most unheard of anymore.

Fast Greens

The course is well maintained and the fairly flat. Water and Bunker make it somewhat difficult on the fairways. But playing Hilly courses in the SF Bay I found the fairways not that hard. But when I got on the greens it was a different story. Most of the time it was a three or four putt because the greens were so fast and if you made mistake, there was no forgiveness. Really nice course over all!

Slow play

Love playing Spanos. unfortunately they had multiple 5 somes ahead of us on a busy Saturday. Cart placard says 14 min per hole it was more like 20 on some holes. if it wasn't 90 per player I wouldn't have cared as much. During week is better that or a cheap municipal course. But on a busy Saturday don't think that's right.

Better than I Expected

I hadn't ready any reviews or looked at the course much beforehand. But I was very surprised by the fairly interesting layout of the course and the excellent condition that it was in.

Grass range is a big plus, although a didn't see a practice bunker or chipping area. Greens smooth and of good pace. Overall conditions were very good and I would consider it an excellent value for the money, especially if you are playing at non-prime times. Pace of play was slow, however and we were pressed to finish our afternoon time.

Nice little restaurant/bar with some outdoor patio seats. Staff was friendly and I would certainly recommend.

Best golf course in Stockton Lodi Area

The coruse is in great condition, nice gofl carts, beverage cart came by several times during the round. Friendly staff in the shop. Marshall on the course, pace of play was good for a very busy day.
