Spanos
The golf course is in fantastic condition. Marshal was needed to keep up the pace of play. After the eighth hole, we caught up with some groups in front of us and it was backed up for the entire back nine.
Confirmed tee time not honored
I made a 7:20 tee time. They would not honor my confirmed tee time. The starter was rude and advised if I wanted to play I would have to start earlier because they were sending out a foursome at my 7:20 tee time. After driving an hour and fifteen minutes to get to course I was unable to stretch or warm up and made to go directly to the first tee.
Absolutely Pure!
Phenomenal conditions! The greens were quick and challenging, fairways pure, tee boxes pure, what more can ya ask for?
Absolutely amazing course. One of the best if you're looking for quality courses in this area.
Worth the trip... bring your A putting game
I took a road-trip from Oakland and was happy that I did. The course layout is a great challenge. Though it is wide open to the fairways (links style) there are plenty of bunkers, water and tight spots in the fairways that will make you pay close attention. Mostly, the greens are amazing and consistent. Smooth and pretty darn fast. Bring your best putting game, the slope and speed will challenge the best of golfers.

Definitely one of my favorite golf courses in the Sac/San Joaquin area. Challenging course, excellent conditions, decent pace of play, great staff and amenities.
Slow play, great course
I generally enjoy playing this course. This time of the year golfers are trying to get in a round of golf between the rain drops. Because of that, the course was full the time I played, which resulted in extremely slow play.
Had a great time with my fiance
It was windy, but had a great time. Greens were in really good condition, but people need to fix their ball marks better. Some of them were pretty beat up. Fairways were good with only a few spots of spotty grass. It was our first time here and we will absolutely come back.
Will be back!
Everything you want at a course. Grass range, putting green, restaurant has an amazing menu with a great view overlooking the 18th green. The course is in great condition and the greens are running true. Some of the bunkers could use a good sifting of the pebbles but besides that, overall 9.5/10. I will be back for sure.
Great Layout
Everything about the course was great. Teeing areas, fairways and greens were super. There were a few bare areas but that is expected this time of year.
