The Reserve at Spanos Park

Love playing spanos when pace of play is good. And course in lil better condition. 100 a round ain’t cheap and should constitute better pace and better conditions. Especially fairway’s. Was a beautiful day outside at least.

I haven't played spanos in about 2 months before the greens were okay always fast which is a given. The greens were in bad shape people not fixing their ball marks every Green was just in really really bad shape. To me it wasn't worth the 54 bucks. I would much rather play Swenson's at a cheaper price that's in way better shape than this course.

Layout is always fun and makes you think about your target spots. Greens this day were flawless, true, but not slippery to ruin a great shot ct.

Course is in very good condition, few areas under repair. I see this as a positive, the course management's efforts to maintain ultimately an excellent golfer experience playing a well maintained golf course. Pace slowed down on the back nine, lots of other golfers out enjoying the course.

No yardage markers. Anywhere. No wooden posts. No sprinkler markets. Nothing. No cart gps. Had no idea in distance throughout the day which made the round frustrating. Course was a little dry but decent condition overall. Pace of play not too bad. Tried to get food at turn no one answered phone and no one present in bar area when we made turn. For the price I wish I would’ve played a handful of other courses. Not a bad day at all but they could step their game up and at least provide some yardage markers. Bring your range finders folks

the course was in great shape. the fairways, tee boxes, bunkers all top notch. the greens were decent. they were punched a while ago but still had some holes remaining. because of the course location nothing stops the wind so be prepaired.

The Reserve has always been one of my favorite places to play. The layout is outstanding and it is a real challenge. We had a 1:00 tee time and I am familiar with the winds that usually kick up at that time on the course. This day was the exception. The winds were about 5 mph and the day was perfect. The greens were fast and in good condition. The bunkers were some of the best I had recently played. The fairways were a little crisp, but that had more to do with a quick heat spell that we had. The staff is always friendly, and several of them greeted me by name. My only hope is that The Reserve does not keep raising prices and eventaully prices some of us out of playing there. I love this course too much for that to happen.

Course is in great condition except for traps and pace of play.. Greens, fairways, tees are all in super shape and has a great driving range. But the traps are way to hard. Like hitting a ball from the parking lot pavement.

The course is fine. However, the staff need some serious training on how to handle situations that arise. My observation of them showed a lack of regard for customers and an ability to address conflict.

Frankly, what I witnessed was nothing short of gang like activity (Staff and locals). Choose wisely, play the venue, but dine elsewhere. The clowns are out of control.
