The Reserve at Spanos Park

I like this course. It’s not too tough and not easy due to the selection of tee boxes. So for all levels of player it’s a great course to play.

For this being a muni course the driving range, course and greens are in EXCELLENT condition. Greens play very fast once they dry out.

I don’t usually give 5 stars to anything because there’s always room for improvements. This course was excellent only knock would be. Cart lady could have been a little bit more accommodating.

Liked the variety and conditions of the course. Good condition and the play was very fair for golfers

Worth the 80 minute drive.

Play in the morning because once the sun is out, it gets hot!!

Great shape and greens fabulous BUT pace slow due to multiple FIVEsomes on course...On the 4TH!! What made it worse is the beer girl cashed them in early PM, so back nine played over 21/2 hours and NO beverages..COM'ON IT'S THE 4TH!!!

Although it has been dry, course in great shape, especially greens. Enjoyable round, would like to see some consistency in the traps, but overall great shape.

Sprinklers were turned on every hole. It was bull crap and ruined my round. I was even and then the sprinklers turned on n the middle of my chip and got me soaking wet. The sprinklers got my cart soaxked and ruined my phone. It was bull crap

Got to course 1 3/4 hours early. There were four in our group.

Noticed that there had not been anyone who had tee’d off for 15 minutes or so. Went into the Proshop, where we found several friendly employees. I asked if we could Tee off early and were told that the Mgr said that Golf Now buyers can only tee off at their purchased time. Will not return to Spanos Park.

This is a great layout that can be enjoyed by all levels of golfers. Most would be better served to play the forward tees, but ego usually gets in the way of that. The condition of the course is very good and the rural setting is a bonus. If you haven't played this course you owe it to yourself to do so. Plenty of water, but wide fairways coupled with tricky pin placements adds up to a wonderful experience.

Played on a holiday so was expecting crowded conditions and no available tee times. Was able to reserve on the same day and had a 11:45 tee time. There was plenty of opportunities between cart girl and club house for cold drinks and food and course was in great shape.

We played the course on Saturday. The pace of play was very very slow. It took us more than 3 hours just to play the front nine. There was no Marshall. The course was in good condition and the rough was punishing. We were not sure if we want to play this course again on a weekend due to slow pace of play.

We love The Reserve course. It is always a treat. The views and wildlife are wonderful … no houses to mar the view. It is always well maintained. The only drawback is the wind because of its location near the Delta. We play here when we want to treat ourselves.
