The Reserve at Spanos Park

If you're looking for a fun course to play, The Reserve is a great choice. The sand traps could use improvement and they'd just sanded the greens. Both of those should be enough for me to give it a bad review, but the t-boxes, fairways and overall course condition was worth playing, it was fun to play. We played with a couple of used car salesmen (highly recommended) who recommended the steak sandwich at the restaurant.

Course in great shape got off early, so pace of play was quick. Enjoyed the round so much we played it again, a little more backed up by then.

Staff and facilities top notch!

Course was in good condition, however there was standing water on some of the greens. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only downsides are the price compared to other local courses, and the bunkers are filled with dirt instead of sand.

Played this course several times and still can't get over how well maintained this course is. I most certainly will return.

Golf course in great condition considering the rain in the past month. A must play course.

played in just over 4 hrs--course in good condition--fairways great- rough not bad-greens pretty fast--lots of bunkers protect greens and you gotta keep it out of the water

course very green for middle of a drought. fairways a bit patchy. greens look like they were played while frosty, but rolled ok. meet my so there occasionally ... it's one of our favorites in the valley ... reminds me a little of the now-closed stevinson ranch, best public track in the region. bunkers a little shoddy.

Played the reserve yesturday.. probably the slowest round I have ever played at any course. Started at 1pm. Didn't get to the back 9 until almost 5 .. nice course.. horrible pace of play.

I would highly recommend the course. I live across the street from Wildhawk Golf Course and I would drive 45 minutes and play Spanos before paying the same amount to play a lesser Wildhawk.

Very challenging and fair course. This course offers you all the challenges you want. We played the white tees since the breeze picked up in the afternoon. The course was in good shape and very green. Bunkers, fairways and greens were all good. We enjoyed the day and look forward to the next visit to The Reserve.

As always, we enjoyed our time at The Reserve.... Try to play 10 times a year... Course is always a test to our patience and putting skills... They have punched some fairways, just a nudge and your good.... Greens didn't look the best, but ran true..... Will play again soon... I really like the flow and course set-up, must be able to scramble and put well here to score, but even so a nice course.... NOT A MUNI!!!!!

The course was in good shape. They water a little to much over night and makes course too wet in some areas. I would play course again.

I've played here before and I enjoyed myself. This time the pace was a little slow. The greens and fairways were a little rough but That might be the water situation in CA.

Kept up really well! Staff was also awesome. Always a great time playing this course. If you haven't tried it you should

have a fun time for 10 holes and then struggled my way out. course was in good shape and amenities and staff excellent

Terrific layout and conditions. Holes are well designed and well kept. Afternoon wind increases difficulty.
Fantastic value. You will not be disappointed.

My buddies and I play different courses in our area and we keep coming back to The Reserve. It is challenging but playable, cost for play is reasonable and it is always in great shape. Wind is the only challenge, so you have to watch for good weather. We will be coming back soon.

I enjoyed playing this course and had a good time. The bad about this course is that there is no shade to park under by the tee boxes. The other bad is a lady named Colleen that works there. My wife played from the green tees and when I pulled up to her tee box two of my wheels were parked in the shade and two of my tires were on the cart path in the sun. As we started to drive off this annoying Colleen lady stopped me and ordered me to keep all 4 tires on the cart path when I park. And she said this to me while she is parked the exact same way I was. If it weren't for seeing Colleen the. My experience there would have been excellent. Hopefully Colleen does not stay working there much longer.
