The Reserve at Spanos Park

This course has plenty of water and sand to deal with. Not too hilly. It was in very good condition when I played.

To play this course requires a at least a good knowledge of how to play the game. Course management is a must if you want to score well. However, any skill level can come here enjoy the experience and beauty of this golf course. In any case any player with the right mindset can enjoy a wonderful day as a single or with a foursome.

first time on this course. I am a 2 handicap from the pacific northwest. Understandably these greens were fast for me for this time of year but they were receptive, which was nice. Overall the track was decent from the tips. The sand was a bit hard packed so they were not the normal play. Got a discounted rate so I was worth the hour drive.

This course was great, the only flaw was people not repairing their ball marks on the greens, other than that no complaints. We played the course in 3 hours and 25 min no pressure from other golfers and no waiting on golfers was smooth!

Horrible service 5+ hour round on a week day. Marshals every where but would not speed up the " regulars ".. Grounds crew mowers would sit idling less than 15 yards behind players.. Will not go back

Great course. The staff while not unfriendly, did not make me feel like a welcome guest. Felt more like an interruption to the their day. That being said I still had a great time. The course is fun, challenging but fair. Difinetly will play many more rounds here.

This course is a great combination of rolling fairways surrounded by plenty of water and sand both greenside and in fairways. It has the feel of a tournament level course, but with a difficulty (definitely harder than average) that we hackers can just survive on. If you stay out of the water, keep a sharp eye out for the sand. On the greens, the ball rolls where you hit it--pretty good for a popular, reasonably priced public course.

TOOK 3 HRS TO PLAY 9 HOLES QUIT AFTER 9 HOLES, THE COURSE IS IN GOOD SHAPE , THE PRO DID REFUND HALF THE MONEY BACK.

Best deal when using golfnow, and when the wind is not blowing. Plenty of water and sand traps to allow you to use all your skills.

If you like wind-blown layouts, with very hard greens, very tight lies in the fairway, and a minimum of sand in the bunkers, this course is for you! Oh, and the on-site restaurant was out of commission due to fire, so lunch at the turn was cold sandwiches, chips and sodas ($22 for two of each!!!!)....

The course was in good shape, although the grass on the greens was a little sparse and spike marks were common. The pace of play was very good. Unfortunately the practice putting green was closed for some unknown reason. Due to a kitchen fire the day before, there was no food or beverage service. Repairs were underway.

I have played the course many times and it is always a great pleasure to play this course with a golfing buddy. The course is one of the nicest in our immediate area and it provides a challenging experience and tests your golfing skills. The greens were not as nice due at this time of the year due to very cold morning temperatures in the low 30's.

The course is great for walkers or pull carts and we played 18 holes on a Saturday morning 9am tee time in under 4 hours. The greens rolled fast and true even though they were wet from fog and frost. Great Value for under $50

I'm a semi regular at Spanos. The course is usually in good to great condition and is a fun track regardless of the tees you play. The staff is friendly and accomodating and normally there's a beverage cart on the course. Always a good value and always fun.

This is the nicest golf course in San Joaquin County.

Course was in amazing shape and staff was super friendly. Plays fair for the novice but could play harder from the back tees. I will be back for sure!!

course was in real good condition green were well maintained and so were fairways but club house people are not friendly at all and seem way to upidy.

It was so slow. There many golfers who do not know how to play golf kept everyone waiting. Played as a single in back nine, there are 3 groups of foursome that were so far behind. All of those greens have many ball markers. Most of experience golfers fix ball markers on those greens, in experience golfers do not.
