Fun Course
Great game despite the Santa Annas that were blowing.
Vista
I thought with all the rain the course would be in somewhat better conditions. Fairways were dead and greens were in bad condition. There were a lot of down trees and logs were everywhere.
Wet & Slow
Not a bad layout for an executive course. Certainly some fun holes out there, and I’d surely rate it better if it wasn’t so wet and muddy (shame on me bc we need the rain). The major knock on this otherwise fun course is the pace of play. It took 3 hours to play the front 9, and when we got to the 10th tee… a 2some of kids were sent off the back making it even worse. I think this would be a super fun course to hone your mid iron game, and attempt to bomb a few par 4 greens if it was wide open, but the time spent on tees waiting was more than the time spent playing. Perhaps try it on a weekday. Definitely no weekends for me.
TOO MANY 5-SOMES!
Times in a row, we've played here and it takes Way Too Long to play this short executive course due to so many 5-somes on the course!
4.5-5 hours to finish an executive course? Come on!
This course used to be better managed.
Great course but…..
Great course but unfortunately they pushed our tee time back almost 2 hours due to frost in the morning and didn’t get to finish our round because it get dark at 4 now
But it’s a nice course overall with it’s challenges
Great Day of Golfing
Good weather and a great day of golfing with a good friend.
Back 9 back log
We teed off to play 18 holes at 6:50a with only a 3some in front of us. By the time we got to the fairway of the 10th we counted 6 groups ahead us. This course is not that big to have that many groups on the back 9 at one time. This is also the only course that I know of that cannot split the green fees.
fall foliage in valencia
first the wetness is under control a bit...
still wet, but not as wet as before... the fall foliage is a full force right now and it was a pleasant surprise.
9am Tee off on a wednesday was really good, everyone super friendly.
Saturated course
I’ve played before at vista Valencia this the course was soaking wet almost every hole standing water mud on course it was terrible they need to fix the drainage
