The Masters Course at Lionhead Golf & Country Club is ideal for golfers who don't feel they are prepared to take on the demanding Legends Course at the club, which has been ranked as one of the toughest courses in North America. The Masters layout is similar to golf courses in Florida, with unique bunkers and scenic ponds that meld perfectly with the rolling hills and wetlands that dot the scenic landscape. Its more traditional layout is considered the kinder and gentler of the two golf courses at Lionhead Golf & Country Club, but there are still a fair amount of challenges. The Masters course requires several long carries over water, particularly on the 16th. This infamous par 5 features a green surrounded by water.

This course and staff had some great features

First class service upont arrival, staff offloaded our equipment confirmed our reservation and mounted the clubs on our cart.
Shuttle service from parking lot back to club house was great. Pro shop staff could have been friendler, had the opionion they turned off the charm when they learned we had booked through Golf Now. The course itself was in great shape, marshalls were obvious and kept play moving. Actual course was very well maintained and challenging. We played the masters course, White Tees and they were adequate for boggy golfers.

Good place to place on weekends.

Course is well manicured. Depending on tee blocks can be challenging (Gold).

Very interesting layout.

All the holes were well bunkered. The groomed and manicured fairways with its twists and turns were outstanding. The par 3s were long enough without being impossible to hit. The whole experience was really a treat. It was my second time there and I brought 3 players who have never played it and they raved about it. Thanks Lionhead well done.

Great condition

Course layout interesting and fun to play with. Pace of play is not fast. I finished my round about 41/2 hrs with a couple. The female golfer is a beginner and this track is tough to her skill level. Overall, green was rolling true, fairway was acceptable. I would say money well spend provided if you are not far away from it.
