About
Designed by world renowned golf architect Rees Jones, Grand Niagara opened in 2005 as a championship caliber 18 hole facility stretching a daunting 7425 yards from the championship tees. Closing 9 holes for development in the fall of 2023, Grand Niagara carries on with a meticulously maintained, gently rolling 9 holes that will challenge every skill level.

Grand course
Finally a course with a decent rate of play. Course layout was excellent. Conditions were as good as it gets for the Niagara Region.
Grand Niagara PLEASE DON’T bulldoze this gem
Grand Niagara is without doubt the Top public course in the Niagara Region. Great layout and superb conditioning. A little pricey by Niagara standards but a BARGAIN for anyone used to paying for top notch courses around Toronto.
Unfortunately the word is it may close at the end of the season, victim of developers. Message to developers: Please don’t bulldoze this gem! There is so much empty land around this property, surely you could build plenty of homes around it, those homes being much more valuable if they have a top notch golf course as an amenity. At least give us a couple more years and develop other parts of the vast property first!
Don't CLOSE this course!
Course was in near perfect shape. Greens very fast and smooth. Played in 4hr 5min. Some bunkers thin on sand.
only complaint is with half way house...another damned course that only serves Pepsi products. I want COKE...lol.
Bunkers?
The bunkers had not been groomed & some were very hard with packed sand. There had been rain the day prior but there was lots of time to have them groomed by 1pm of the day after the rain. For $100 per round I would expect groomed bunkers. The rest of the course was in very good shape.
Great course
Large greens. Easy to 3 putt if you don't get to the right quadrant
Nice course but needs to push pace of play
4.75 hour round should have been 45 min faster. 3 groups of 4 on a trip ground pace way down on back 9 and we waited on every shot. Marshall did nothing and it ruined the experience.
