Good condition
A twosome behind a foursome and the foursome should be playing ready play golf, Wish the Marshall was out there. a bit more to improve speed of play.
About course
I would play it again would tell anyone to play it to for sure
A good time was had by all
Great day at Grand Niagara. I was expecting the greens to be faster and the fairways more roll. Really nice day though.
Always A Pleasure Play This Course
Positives: Course layout, good condition for tee boxes, fairways & greens. Negatives: you need to pay extra if you want to ride by yourself even though you paid for cart. Their reason is they don't have enough carts. Also sand is hard.
5-Some?
I knew course would be slow due to Covid. But in front of us was a 3some and in front of them was a 5some with 3 carts. This held up all 3 tees times behind them. The 3 other sets of players sat and waited at every hole. Was not worth the $260 for the 2 of us. Long day and to boot it was cold. Club house staff were friendly and provided good service
A course to play.
Overall this is a well laid out course. It’s a fair test and offers 5 sets of tees.
The greens are great fairways cut nicely.
I was able to use some rewards to get the price down.
At $115 including cart it’s a bit steep. I don’t think I would play it again at that price. There are other courses as nice in the area where you will pay sub $100 including cart.
Look for a deal and play this course. It is a nice layout.
Finally allowed 2021
I was thrilled to get a decent tee time on a beautiful day to play for the first time since Oct. of 2020. Grand Niagara is one of my fave courses in Ontario and I usually make the 1.5 hour drive atleast once a year in order to enjoy it. They have started to get it in shape since the lockdown was lifted but the greens were somewhat slower and spongier than normal. The rough must have been crazy long because they had cut it but, it was still quite long and had the clippings resting on top making things a little difficult to find the ball and get it out. Everything else was up to par and I look forward to another visit this season. Fantastic service and a superb design.
Great course for great price
Well worth the money..great condition...friendly staff...pace of play is extremely slow...it seems they don’t mind having groups of 5 playing on their course..two groups of 5 in front of us that took over 5 hours to play
A great spring round of golf
Playing for the first time, I initially thought the course was more open than I'd like. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the design and style of the layout.
I'll be back to this hidden gem.
