#1 Course in Niagara Region
Although it was CPO the pace was excellent. Fairways and greens in beautiful condition despite the recent rain.
Course conditions were Mother Natures fault from all of the rain .Other than that a Great Day
So much fun!
Beautiful course with a great layout.
Lots of raised greens surrounded by sand traps.
Excellent scenery.
All aspects of the course were in great shape!
Really fun course to play.
Can't wait to go back!
Raincheck
Overall everything is wonderful
But hard to contact agency in emergency case
That while rounds my partner wasn't feeling good maybe cold wind so I called and trying to get rain check but the club house could not help me for that and I spent hard time to reach agency
So we have up and back home early
If we got Rain check would be wonderful to worth of money . It's not cheap course
Thank you
Absolutely Loved It! You've Got to Play This One!
First time playing Grand Niagara going in October of the year. As we drove up to the first tee my mouth dropped ... Wow! What a beautiful course and so well maintained. As other reviewers have noted, it reminds one of nicer courses in the southern US. Many of the greens appear to "mounded" with numerous deep sand bunkers protecting them. Several different tee boxes available so choose your overall course length wisely. Although busy, it felt like we were by ourselves on many holes. Our day was nice but it must have rained recently as the course was quite saturated ... no run out on tee shots. Keep it in play and you should score OK. Aesthetically very beautiful. You've got to play this one! Round cost about $80 including power cart.
Course was in amazing shape, especially for October.
Fairways & Greens the quality of TPC/PGA courses
The best course in the Niagara Region without exception. Course conditions of the fairways & greens were immaculate.
It would be a shame to see this sold and developed for housing.
Grand Niagara is Grand
it's always a pleasure and a challenge to play here.
yet, even in mid October, the course is in immaculate shape.
Bonus Round
It was 21c and sunny on thanksgiving day. Got a hot deal $65 with cart couldn’t pass it up.
Day was amazing, course lovely as always, played in wind, sun, and even a quick little spritz of rain.
End result, one to hold me over until next season
Always a delight to play. Great selection of tee boxes for all handicaps.
The only thing wrong with the round was my mental errs.
Lovely course
What a nice layout. Course is in great condition and the staff are wonderful. Get here to play if you can!
Great course
This is definitely one of the best public golf courses I’ve played. Pace of play was great, the fairways and greens were is great condition probably the best you can get for mid October. This course has some challenging greens. The course Marshall was a gem and the staff was very inviting. A must play!
Grand
Course looked amazing
Not on a sand base like I’m used to. So it didn’t drain the days before rain at all
Hardest ground on the course were the greens
If it were dry would be great
Not the number 1 course in Niagara as advertised.
I have had the privilege of playing a few courses in Niagara region in 2020.
I booked Grand Niagara as a treat for myself and my son-in-law. He lives in the area, but has not played this course because of the cost to play.
The fairways are like carpet. Beautifully kept. The tee boxes level. So nice.
The greens were fertilized. No mention of that anywhere, we paid quite a lot of money for the privilege of putting on pebbles.
We called in on the 8th hole to the restaurant. No answer. Called again. No answer. When we went to the restaurant on the turn, the girl working said she did not hear the phone because she was using the vacuum. She is not the only one working there. No one answered. We had a dry bun sandwich. Very disappointing, but thats all we had time for as we did not want to lose our place teeing off at 10.
There was a super slow group 2 ahead of us. We had to cut 2 holes out so we cut ahead of that 4some finish in the daylight.
The course was boring compared to the other fine Niagara courses. Whirlpool is much more interesting and less expensive. Battlefield at Legends is less expensive, similar in design but much more visually pleasing.
