The teeing sufaces were horrible , chunked up , bad stance and dead grass on every teeing surface , Fairways are all Saint Augustine so , the grass ( when there is grass) on the fairway , either grabs your club or bounces your club so , you hardly ever get a clean shot off. The greens were in good shape although they were like nobody fixes their divots , Over-all i would not play this course again .If they play tournaments here i would guarantee that everyone has high scores. What happened to one of my favorite courses ? Very Poor!

north course is a bit more challenging and has some narrow fairways but if u miss it you will end up in a different fairway which makes the recovery shots easier

wished royal vista have more discount tee fees. love to play but little pricey...compare to local golf courses...

I got lucky to have a great pace of play. Usually were backed up but the starters did an awesome job!

Gone back after a few years. Course in decent condition and friendly staff. Will definitely go back since the pricing is reasonable and great location.

Played on a Tuesday 12:23 tee time. Probably finished in a little more than 2 hours as a single... Nobody was on the course. It was hot but not too hot for a $17 hot deal. Wide open fairways so you can hit Driver on every hole. The greens are incredible actually. Extremely fast. The grass around the greens was pretty tough though. You have to land your pitch and chip shots on the green as the fringe is too long and unpredictable. Also some very fluffy rough around the green makes for tough pitch shots. Incredible views, challenging elevation changes, and very fun.

Well kept, fast greens. Slow players on the course, if the Marshalls can move pace better, the course would be rated better.

Great view from tee locations. Houses are close to course. Greens are tough. Staff was friendly. Challenging but not too hard to play. Did not get a chance to play the North Course. Did not get any food or beverage. Looking forward to playing this course again. Golf carts were nice too.

Very impressed with the upkeep of the course well matained. greens are fast and fairways in great condition

Great course , definitely recommend , got through North course in a bit over 2 hours , greens are multi leveled so landing on the green doesn't mean easy putt

Enjoyed the round of golf here. Play was slow at the beginning was a single and they would not let me play through until back nine.

I am from Ohio and was in LA for a business trip. I rented clubs from clubhouse and my partner and I were grouped up. Starter didn't follow schedule tee times whoever and whenever he wanted to start you he did. Overall look of course was average. Sand played very nice. Fairways were nice rough was short. Greens were stupid fast. Almost beyond fun. Costing 1-2 strokes per hole just because ball stupidly rolling.

Yes, dogs are allowed. The little dog barked when the owner playing in front of me with 4 others would leave the dog on the cart.

Course was crowded for weekday, so took us 4 1/2 hours, but course in good shape and I used every club in my bag. Great scenery from several vistas of the central LA area. And pro gave me the senior rate which was $2 lower than the Golf Now rate.

The staff are very friendly. The price is so reasonable, accessible on line and very convenient. Greens and fairways are well kept.

my group has played here before. My group normally plays there on a Thursday after our graveyard shift. First time was slow but We decided to give it another chance. Our tee time was 9am. We arrived and checked in early only to see about 20 carts waiting on the 1st tee. I talked to the starter at 1st tee and he told me there was a women's club going out and the clubhouse overbooked. There was suppose to be only 8 groups but ended up with 14 groups from the women's club. I don't think it's fair for us to wait for not one but six groups to play ahead of us whom did not have tee time. We started about 45 mins late and it was very slow pace. The round took almost 6 hours. Things like this can't happened because we have things to do after golf. It's not fair to stick 6 additional groups in even if their a club. That 6 groups should not have played. We like the course and condition but I don't think we'll play there on our Thursday rounds because of this women's club if this is normal.

The only reason I played this course was because I couldn't get a tee time for other courses around this area. The greens was known to be fast but not this particular day.

Good staff & friendly service and pretty good everything.
