Royal Vista Golf Club

Royal Vista ALMOST was closed as it was purchased by a developer for 2 Million dollars. Unfortunately for them they did not do their research as homes cannot be built on the course grounds. So they ended up abandoning the project and the course was re-opened back up as it was closed for a bit. Even thou it went thru that the course is still in decent shape & the layout is always fun. Been playing this course for many many years & am glad it is still around. Can't beat 18 holes of golf on a Saturday for $42. Alhambra GC a shorted executive course was charging $50 + a cart for 18 on Saturday. No way I will stick with the LONGER more challenging Royal Vista for $42 bucks & a cart :-)

Not recommended, tee box, fairways and green conditions are so bad, don't want to play here again

Goog course layout with doglegs and elevation changes. Fairways were in good shape and the greens were in decent shape, with a few greens having fungus.

This course is very well designed in a neighborhood of homes. The fairways were immaculate and the greens were awesome for the drought we are in. I played the East/North. I have to go back and play the south course I had so much fun. Oh and the pace of play felt like we were the only ones out there. I will definitely be back soon!

played here many times,and i find that the course has gotten better as far as the conditions are concerned.fairways were greener and fuller for the most part.greens were nice,but a little slow,but that's ok.would definitely go back,especially for the great price we paid.

The pace of play is like that of any other decent local course with affordable prices. You basically get what you pay for. Not enough marshals go around to speed up the pace of play. I hope someday, they will and also provide a beverage cart.

It was first time playing at Royal Vista, and the green & fairway were maintained very well. For the price, it's fantastic deal, and the pace was fantastic. I just had to drive out little farther than I used to, but it was well worth the money and the time. If you just started playing golf, this is not the course you want to play due to the elevation changing for each course. Try flatter course so you can manage your game better. Good iron players will get awarded with course management. It got windy everywhere I really had to focus on the shot selection. I will definitely go back there again soon.Played at East & South course.

Just a good day of golf....no one pushing from behind and no one in front. I guess the golf Gods were blessing us :)

Range was closed and some holes were closed.

Pace was play was good after first three holes which were backed up really bad. (par 5 and par 3 start)

Played South and partial of east and north.

Played total of 20 holes.

Fairway condition was ookay...

Some narrow fairways.

Greens were in great condition, difficult too.

I would play here again if it is under $40.

The pace of play was very slow. If the Marshall's would enforce speedier play and enforce players playing from the correct tees my day would have been excellent

We enjoy playing this course but sometimes the pace of play is TOO SLOW. Help!.

I could't know where is fairway and rough.

Canceled two of my people. Course was busy and still charged me the next day. Bye bye!

I spent a couple hundreds dollars to buy a practicing ball dispenser, at that time, no one told me that key will expire. Last December, when I try to get range balls, the machine told me my key is expired. I talked with someone in the course, but they told me they won't help. I contacted BBB and they don't respond to BBB at all.

The pro shop and course staff are all friendly. The greens are in fantastic condition, as are the tee boxes, the fairways are okay, mostly good with dry spots. The snack bar and driving range are run by another company and are really run down however.

Had a 8 am tee. The 2 of us got coupled with a single. We had a single in front of us. Pace of play was good all day until the last 4 holes. Then a little slow. Course seemed to get crowded after 9-10 am. Greens are probably in the best shape in the area. Fast at times. Great value. Will play again

This course has a mixture of wide and narrow fairways coupled with varied elevations. You will get to work on all aspects of your game and I enjoyed that! Staff was very friendly!!! I will go back again!

9 hole play . 3 and half hours..... even that day was saturday...

Staff at Pro Shop and Bar/Restaurant was courteous and professional. Greens and fairways were in good condition but I noticed that the golfers generally did not fix their divots on the greens or rake the sand traps. Not sure if it was just on 11/08 but there was no snack/drink cart to buy refreshments in the front or back nine. Overall I would play this course again and recommend it to my friends and family. The only non-positive comment I have is that the staff/cashier at the Driving Range did not know where golfers need to go to check in for their tee time.

it is a challenging but fun (East - North) course with some narrow fairways, water hazard and elevation changes. if it is hot and you play the North course, take your water with you, since there are no water on that course.

Love the course, the view from several tee boxes. Plays well and not that difficult but super enjoyable. Would want to go back again.
