Port Colborne Country Club
About
Port Colborne Golf & Country Club sits just minutes from the banks of Lake Erie. Founded in 1929, it originally opened as a nine-hole course and expanded to a full-length course in 1964. The golf course has matured beautifully over the years with help of major renovations to the design, irrigation, and drainage systems. The layout has rolling fairways that are lined with trees. It is still highly walkable though, since the undulations in the landscape are gentle, which is not to say it does not have its challenges. There are five water hazards and 13 strategically placed sand traps as well as smaller greens that demand accuracy. Port Colborne's practice facilities include a driving range and a putting green with a practice bunker.

Port Golf and it's many Trees
The feature to remember from this golf course are the dense tree lined fairways. Many of the holes are doglegs where you need to hit a spot in the fairway to get a decent angle to the green. Being accurate is a must for good scores here.
The greens are quite small, hard, fast and didn't seem to hold many shots. The rest of the course was in good condition. Fairways and bunkers were above average, but some of the tee boxes were a little beat up and could have been flatter.
Very nice course, excellent value for a round.
Would be a very easy course to walk because there is literally zero elevation changes, other then a few very small mounds around some of the fairways.
Great challenge for all levels of play
Greens and Fairways are in top condition. Staff was great as usual. Obviously Niagara's best kept secret!
Great greens
The course played exceptionally well, especially with all the rain the previous night. No wet areas in the fairways or bunkers. Greens were in excellent condition and rolled quickly. Excellent value for what we paid.
excellent putting greens
Other then the starter having a problem with us purchasing a drink aafter 9 holes , it was a greatday
Course drains very well
Always a pleasure playing here, even in the rain. Friendly staff
easy walk, excellent condition, great price
easy walk for any age of golfer
course distance excellent for any golfer with many doglegs that require target golf, small, firm fast greens very true
fairways smooth and firm, good for hitting to small greens
price excellent esp to ride
will play again and highly recommend to others
I love this track.
A beautiful old course(1923). Open fairways ,tree lined ,soft dog legs & beautiful greens. A bit of water strategically placed. If I ever took a membership I would consider this course.

Port Colborne Golf
Staff was extra friendly.
Golf course was in good shape.
Greens were great to put on (but firm)..it was hot!
Gentle breeze from the lake made it a little more comfortable.
Always a treat to play this course.
Great course to ride or walk.
Read the greens carefully. Enjoyable round and would play the course again.
Great course at a great price
I have played this course in past years and always find it in great condition. Price was cheaper booking through Golfnow.
Pace of play was excellent, sand traps in good shape. Ruff was not too long. Although we had lots of rain course drains very well. Fairways were cut. Greats were fast and true.
A Real Gem
A very challenging (easy to walk/flat) course with many mature trees lining the fairways. Tight fairways lead to some small and some large greens most with a false fronts which are very easy to be on the wrong side if you don't concentrate on which side to miss on. Overall a great course layout which needs more than one time around to play well.
Staff were very good ... full snack bar available if club house is closed (Monday).
More than worth a trip ... great value and worth the drive.
Great experience
Enjoyable course. Rustic country setting. Worth the drive
Best value on your site to date, Great day.
Would strongly recommend this course to anyone looking for a great place to play at Avery reasonable rate. The members call it the best kept secret in the area and I can see why.
Great Course
First time for my wife and I and we enjoyed ourselves very much. We plan to go back soon.
Thanks everyone at Port Colborne CC
greens are a good size and in very good condition--difficult to read.
fairways in good shape and rough very fair should be an enjoyable day.
Great staff and very playable
Open and forgiving off the tee but small greens demand good second shots. Proshop is cash free so bring debit or credit.
Great course, great condition, great value!
Amazing value. Wonderful surprise.
Course condition was as good any top course in Niagara. Greens were beautiful!
Really nice course an enjoyable round of golf
Tree lined course that is unforgiving if you put a shot into them. Very well maintained course, great staff. A fairly flat course, with just the right mix of bunkers and water hazards.
Good fairways
This is the second time this season I've played this course and will very likely play it again this year.
