Port Colborne Golf & Country Club sits just minutes from the banks of Lake Erie. Founded in 1929, it originally opened as a nine-hole course and expanded to a full-length course in 1964. The golf course has matured beautifully over the years with help of major renovations to the design, irrigation, and drainage systems. The layout has rolling fairways that are lined with trees. It is still highly walkable though, since the undulations in the landscape are gentle, which is not to say it does not have its challenges. There are five water hazards and 13 strategically placed sand traps as well as smaller greens that demand accuracy. Port Colborne's practice facilities include a driving range and a putting green with a practice bunker.

A great "old" course

A flat course but with raised green with many ondulations.
Like to play it because it is surrounded by big old trees.

Well Maintained at a Great Price

Four of us played on a Tuesday mid-morning...beautiful sunny spring day...course was in great shape regardless of iffy spring weather. Staff was great...had a hot dog and a beer at the turn fro0m halfway house...excellent. For $25 each including a cart...tough to beat. Well definitely be back.

Always Enjoy Playing This Course

The course is always in top shape, considering the time of year and the amount of rain we received the course was in great shape. I enjoy the challenges that the course presents, dog legs, lots of trees and some water hazzards and great greens . You really get to use most clubs in the bag.I always enjoy playing here , no issues to speak of.

Loved it

One of the best courses for the momey. I would think about joining if I lived closer. Fairways pristine greens nice and fast. Most balls off fairway are easy to find. Course is perfect for my level.

Port Colborne is a great value

I really like this course. I got to play it a few times last season and will be playing more of it this year as well. If you like flat open courses then this will satisfy. Don't be fooled though, if you get lazy and make a bad shot you can get in to some serious problems. It has a few doglegs. Decent greens for the price. Long par 5's for your average golfer. Great course to score low.

Well designed course with many different holes

Well maintained course that is interesting to play but for mid to high handicaps this is challenging because the design does not focus on straight drives slices and hooks are needed. Playing at this course will help improve our golf skills
