Cardinal Lakes Golf Club - Sparrow Course

Ordered three sausages but they ran out. So ordered two burgers and one chicken strips instead for my group. The two burgers were burnt black beond recognition and hard dry.. The staff offered to make a couple more. The next set came out slightly better 15 minutes later but still overdone.

No real attemp to adjust the tab was made by the manager so will probably not eat there inbetween nines again.

The Sparrow is one of my favourite courses to play. It is short, however, it has challenging greens. The course is well maitained. Only drawback, on that there is no marshall to monitor pace of play. We had a foursome ahead of us (two riding) of two men and two women who were walking, playing terribly and slowly, who refused to let us through. We had to skip a hole to get ahead of them.

I like this course as a couples course....I take my girlfriend here and it is the perfect length for her....about 4000 yds for the ladies. The course is well watered and maintained even in this drought we have had this summer! Greens run true and are fast! Layout is very interesting with water, bunkers trees etc. so lots of challenges! Have played here many times and recommend this course to the average golfer or couple!

This course had four par threes on front none. The rate was the same for a cart after paying green fees on line. Pace was terrible. Had most everyone playing on same course.

Very good round of golf, weather Wes very hot so parts of the course was dry but greens were good friendly service played this course several times and never been disappointed with all the services offered .Will keep on playing this course .

Pleasant to walk, enough challenge to use different clubs. Well kept . Enjoy !

This is a great little course to tune up your game. You don't have to use driver on many holes so if you want to practice your iron game or you're walking it's a real treat. Greens roll true and can be tricky at times depending on flag placement. It was a little slow but it was a holiday weekend. Still finished in about 4 hours. It usually only takes 3.

We like this course as it is always well kept and it is a challenge for every level of golfer. The staff and members are very welcoming.

Course was busy, but play in less than 3 1/2 hours

This course is a beaut, fairways were aerated but still in prime shape. Greens rolled true and were receptive to good placed shots. Only thing was we saw the cart GUY once! Other than that a stellar experience.

played as a twosome and was sent out to play ten first with no explanation. waited a bit but by 13th hole (which was our 4th) 4 groups on the tee . seems was a small tournament in front of us paired up and played as as 5some . What bothered me 1st tee was open and at least the next two holes after that. should be able to do in 3 hours took 4 and a half. course was in good shape but the wait killed the day

Great pace. above average conditions and good value.

Couse has a bit narrow fairway and short but having lots of fun there.

Nice course 5000 yards, nice size for walking. Really enjoyed the day

Very enjoyable day ..greens were in great shape.. You have to put the driver away on a lot of holes or you could get yourself in trouble very easily ..

Great course and In good shape . Love to play the course with lots of flexibility with 36 holes .

I frequently play at Sparrow as the price is good, the course and the staff are fantastic. I also like that with 36 holes you can play 2 different styles of golf.

The course was in GREAT shape as always. Staff was great. Always worth the trip!!!!

This course is only a Par 67 but what a treat. We have now played this course twice and intend to make it a regular. The course is in fantastic shape and there is even a drink cart with interact capability. Pace of play was great the first time and thanks to a couple beginners and a foursome letting us play through the second round was quick too. We live in St David's but will make this drive, especially for the Golf Now Hot deals.
