Battlefield Golf Club at Centerville

0 stars if I could.. only put 5 up there because I notice it doesn’t show the review if it’s a low star…

Somebody has to see this.

I’ve given this golf club the benefit of the doubt for the longest, but I have definitely come to a conclusion that the staff here does not like black people, and I won’t be going here anymore. They nag and question you so much about every little thing the moment you pull up. they say certain things that make you feel unwanted everytime they see you. It’s never a welcoming experience and the guys that run this place are straight up r acists. It’s simple if you are black please go elsewhere , do not come here. I’m saving you.. Other courses treat you way better and the experience is a lot better. I really could go on and on about the experiences I’ve had here but I’m just done and won’t ever come back, the staff here should be a shame and a big change needs to happen here because the course is great but the people that run this place makes it unbearable to show up and have fun.. I now see why no one that looks like me play at this place

Love this course it’s layout and pace of play shame no bar at club but otherwise a lovely hidden gem of a course

This course was beautiful and great to play on. The only issues were with the office, they treated our group like we were dumb and slow minded because we said we were beginners. They told us we needed to play best ball to "keep up the pace" but we played our own ball instead and was still waiting at EVERY hole to tee off due to groups in front of us getting backed up. But again beautiful layout of the course I just recommended if you don't have to deal with the office then don't, it would be a 5 star experience for sure

Im a new student to the game. Went to check in and told the staff at the counter it was my first time there. He explained everything to me about their process. Had no issues getting paired up (went alone), almost 45 minutes before my scheduled tee time. Cart worked well. Fairways and greens were well kept. Had a great time!

I didn’t know what to expect but assumed it would be another pasture course, I was surprised to see the slight hilly terrain, it made this course quite fun,

Really enjoyed this course great layout and the course was in good condition greens were true will be playing again

Beautiful course that is always in excellent condition. Full-size driving range and practice facility. Only thing that’s missing is a nice clubhouse with restrooms and food.

This course is so golpher friendly. I love playing here.

I am not one to typically write.reviews good.or bad, but this mornings fiasco was one that can not go untold. Me and 5 workers had confirmed tee times for 945am. At 850am we arrived at the golf course to hit a few balls before our 18 holes. When we asked for the club rentals for 3 of our teamates (also confrimed ahead of time that club rentals would be available), we were told that club rentals were not available until 2pm. Then we were informed that whomever took our reservations messed up and shouldn't have scheduled us because they have shipyard folks playing there today and wouldnt be unable to accommodate us. When I made one final request to direct me to the restroom, before departing,, they informed me that they had none, but Porta John's were available. What a completely unprofessional golf course. Needless to say we will never be back and I will be glad to spread the word about the poor staffing and facility this place.turned out to be.

Great course.Excellent pace (just a little over 3 hour…no waiting at all. Clubhouse (no beverage cart) made for a bit of a challenge, but my wife and I enjoyed it.

As Expected but pace was great less than 3 hours😎
