THE BEACH
The course for the mosy part is in ok condition. The fairways were great, the sand was like hitting off cement it was so wet and the greens well, almost back from irrating so you would get that wee zigzag as your ball rolled toward the hole. but I am sure the greens will be fine in a short time from now.
Fantastic Round and Incredible Staff!!
When we first arrived to this course, the staff were waiting to put our bags on carts and drive them in.. the walk from the parking lot to teh club house was short and welcomed. We arrived as a twosome and they paired us up with one of the club members and his guest, two of the nicest guys you could play golf with... We birdied, par'ed, bogeyed and had a great time all through the match.
Even though the greens had been punched recently, they rolled as if there were no little spike marks in the ground and the fairways were beautiful. Lots of waste areas and houses, we only hit one on the long grip it and rip it par 5...
Great Value, Great Course, Great Staff
Had a tee time of 7:00am which was perfect, played the valley on the front 9 and the Mountain on the back 9. The green were a little wet in the morning but after the 4th hole and the temperature starting to climb up, the greens were perfect. Overall course was in great shape and the staff was excellent. I'm a local so i will definitely be coming back again.
Great Round on a HOT Day
Although it was Over 105 Degress on the Day of Play, everything was in Very Good Shape! Greens were in Nice Shape, Fairways were nice and Fast, Tee Boxes nice and Green.
Great Day for Golf...Love Silverstone
This course has a nice layout with 27 holes to play!!!
The fairways were in great shape, the greens still needed some time to recover from being punch. Very nice course!!!
they just aieeated there grens
they just airraited there greens and you were lucky to have a 2 put they should give something to the customer when the greeens are that bad but you can see the course is a nice course except for now with the greens like that
had a good time
greens had been recently airiated,so putting was difficult.
bunkers need more sand.
Poor green conditions and inadequate communication by staff
This course was a fairly decent course layout but the greens had been plugged therefore making the $70 price to play it totally unacceptable. The pace of play was a disaster and the course staff was not to great about making it better. Of course the proshop never told us the greens had been plugged recently.. I would have expected to pay a lot less for these conditions.
enjoyable course
Disappointed in the condition of the greens We were never told that they had recently been plugged when we got there The rest of the course was in good shape
I have played here before and loved it. This time was less than stellar.
They rushed us to tee off, even though they were dead and we were waiting for one more. It was hot and they had "NO ICE". Even though we just spend $50 at the bar with ice in our drinks? They handed me the ice chest for my cart and said I can go to the bar if I really needed ice...? Service! The greens where rock hard and bumpy. I enjoy this course but this was a poor experience.
Great experience
The staff was great and very helpful. We played the desert course and it was in great shape. We started with just my daughter and I until she was unable to finish. So I was solo and didn't have to wait long between shots. It moved right along. I only played 9 holes, and can't wait to go back to play the other two courses.
beautiful
The landscaping really grew since I was there six years ago--a really nice place now
Silverstone Golf Experience
This is a good course, however, The greens were recently aerated which I feel they should have informed me prior making the tee time. Some people don't mind playing under these conditions, but my game is difficult enough without making it harder to putt on aerated greens. Other than that I found the course enjoyable.
greens needs full attention
the course was good lay out yes fairways not bad but the greens was hard way to hard and not good at all don't understand why ? fix that might get more play... besides that not bad..
well laid out
in good condition, fun to play, challenging enough
Challenging for a hacker like me
Fantastic set up. Luckily the staff paired us with 2 locals who knew the course. Do not fall of the fairways, the desert is rock hard. Nice clubhouse & staff is nice . They have a Microbrew infused with chile peppers that is superb. We enjoyed our day at the course.
We would definitely play here again.
Very nice we'll kept course with friendly staff. We were only a twosome and finished in under four hours. Greens were dry but rolled nicely.
Horrible customer service
Had a tee time that took off at the same time a tournament did. Starter was overwhelmed, told me there was no cart 5 minutes before my tee time. Also the starter refused to help about 10 other customers when they asked for a cart or range balls. Totally unimpressed with the customer service. Course was maintained rather well for the priced i paid. This course's regular price is really high for what they offer.
Greens need some work
I hardly ever play on the weekends late in the day and this is why. Got there around 1:00 p.m. for a 1:40 tee time. Now I didn't know about the 1:30 tournament since this was a spur of the moment decision to play but when I arrived there were no carts and they had no range balls. Seemed a little disorganized too. Like every place these days I think they were short on help.
This is must play in Las Vegas for Beginners & advanced players!
I booked on golfnow.com for $69 for the round and couldn't be more pleased. i was greeted by Eldon in the parking lot and received a warm welcome ans assistance on where the pro shop was to check-in. he rode me to the front of the club house and said he would setup my cart with the clubs i rented which was $50 for the new G25 by Ping! i met with Kelyn who i spoke to on the phone and got me checked in and told about the course and the conditions i would be facing(it was quite windy). the practice range was on grass and the balls were included. the course is 27 holes and i played the dessert and mountain courses for my 18. fairways were wide and forgiving, and the greens were in great shape. the view of the mountains in the fore ground were spectacular when you tee off at most of the holes.
