The Golf Club at Mattaponi Springs

Great course but slow moving couple in front of us kept us waiting all day.

Course in good shape except for greens. Aerated recently and not watered enough.

Should be better in a couple of weeks. Lack of rain not helping.

Place was wide open. In great shape and the staff was very friendly.

This course was great. Lots of challenging holes and reachable par threes. If you find a Hot Deal, this is a perfect place to play.

This course was a great time. While off the beaten path I’ll definitely be back. Staff was extremely friendly. Course was in pretty good shape for this early in the year. Greens were punched but playable. The elevation changes and blind shots provide a good test but a fair test. Nice green complexes and some devious pin positions. All in all a great time.

Driving range poor. Range balls look like really bad woods found balls. Hitting off mats

Greens aerated large pull holes. Lots of sand

9 and 18 need work on Creek fronting greens to bring beauty to these holes

Played here on March 28, and the course was in excellent condition! The staff was phenomenal, and the pace of play was excellent. This was my second time playing here, and it has become one of my favorite courses in the area! Definitely worth the value!

This is the best course in Virginia and I live in Williamsburg. Everything from layout, to shape of greens, fairways and bunkers-all excellent condition. Most beautiful and serene views. Pine trees are gorgeous. Clubhouse amenities and food are all excellent. Must visit for anyone that loves golf!

If you have not played this course, you must put it on your list of places to play.

It was a cold early March day but it is always fun and worth your time to play this course. Good conditions for time of year, great layout and challenging greens.

Course was in good shape. Be even better in a couple of weeks. Played in less than four hours but still had two guys hitting up on us most of the day and a single snuck out ahead of us . Great layout with multiple changes in elevation. Could have blown greens clear a bit better but in pretty good shape considering the cold wet winter.

Great layout. Challenging and fun to play. Great pace of play. Definitely recommend this course to anyone regardless of skill level

Zoysia fairways & smooth greens made our round very playable after the extreme winter conditions we’ve had the last four weeks. Great course!

Beautiful course and clubhouse with an amazing staff! It's my favorite place to play in Virginia.

First time playing this course. A couple of people mentioned this was a great course to play and were they correct! My buddies and I were in simple awe of Mattaponi Springs. Great layout, course condition, staff friendliness, etc. The only slight drawback was there was not much to offer in the golf shop, but understand there are possible renovations occurring. Also, the kitchen closed at 5pm, so was not able to grab a bite after the round. Other than that, was quite pleased with MS. I will be back!!
