Ocean Resorts Golf Club
About
Located just six miles west of Ocean City, Md., Ocean Resorts Golf Club is a good option if you're looking for a round that is fun to play but still a good value. The course is known for being player friendly enough for any skill level but there are still several challenges in store with multiple sets of tees that range from 4,800 to 6,500 yards. Water hazards come into play on a few holes and there are also several strategically placed bunkers you'll have to contend with. The layout rewards proper club selection and good strategy but it's not overly punishing for high handicappers. A unique aspect of Ocean Resorts is that it's owned by the Wor-Wic Community College.

Basic Course
It’s a short shot making course. Post card greens which were fast..It’s a affordable course you don’t go broke on.
Fun, challenging, and reasonable
Great fun to play. Not overly busy and reasonably priced. Has some short but challenging Par 4s.
Up for a challenge?
Course is well designed and in very good shape. Stay in the fairway to cut down on strokes. Greens are true.
Very enjoyable
Excellent layout front nine is more open back nine tight tree lined Fairways. Greens are in great shape just a tiny bit slow but roll nice. I played in the afternoon there was a tournament on before I played it's nice to see that people fix their ball marks on the greens. Wish I could say the same for people up here in the north on my local courses. Overall really enjoyed the course will definitely be back next time I'm down here.
Course is in good condition.
Need to improve space between T times or have a player assistant at the turn to move things along. We waited over twenty minutes to begin the back nine. Actually had two singles join our twosome to help improve spacing.
Course had greens still recovering from aerating
Course needed better cup installation. Cups weren't set deep enough plus not level. Old cup plugs not manicured also. Flag indicators not true.
First time here.
Me and my buddies played today. Tee time at 11:30 and we got off easily with no problems at all. Slower day for the course. Aeration on the greens made putting a little tough but the greens overall are in nice condition. At least people fix their divots here. The first two and last two holes are pretty wide-open. The rest of the course is pretty tight. Great tuneup for your short game. Overall we enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back again
Enjoyed myself and thought it was a good value but the weather was lousy and the course was almost empty
Below Average
Asking way too much for an 18 hole round. The layout is challenging but the course conditions are not very good when comparing it to other, similarly priced courses in the area,. They were terribly backed up (frost delay) and didnt seem to have a great system in place to get players off when the weather improved.
Fun, but challenging round
What I liked: The course starts out wide open and finishes wide open. Most of the holes in between have narrow tree lined fairways which place a premium on accuracy. The greens are small so expect your GIR stats to suffer a bit. There is an adequate amount of water in play to make it interesting. I like that some holes are designed to force less than driver off the tee.
What I didn’t: It was a dry week leading up to our round and the fairways and greens were thin and very hard. I feel they should have been more plush this time of the year. It did not seem that any watering was being done. The white tees are short and the blue tees long. It would benefit mid handicappers to have a blended tee option with yardage somewhere in between.
