About
Located just six miles west of Ocean City, Md., Ocean Resorts Golf Club is a good option if you're looking for a round that is fun to play but still a good value. The course is known for being player friendly enough for any skill level but there are still several challenges in store with multiple sets of tees that range from 4,800 to 6,500 yards. Water hazards come into play on a few holes and there are also several strategically placed bunkers you'll have to contend with. The layout rewards proper club selection and good strategy but it's not overly punishing for high handicappers. A unique aspect of Ocean Resorts is that it's owned by the Wor-Wic Community College.

Better Than Expected
Had an 11:30 AM tee time and showed up at 10:45 to hit balls, putt, and warm up. When I checked in at the pro shop they guessed my name, paired us with a single and told us to go off immediately at 11 AM. My wife got us a six pack at a reasonable price from the nice, helpful lady in the grill and off we went.
The tee boxes and greens were in fair shape, better than expected. The fairways were not terrible, even though the recent aeration seemed a little heavy handed. Lots of crab grass, but that really didn’t detract from our fun.
We’ll definitely be back for the value.
Condition is horrendous
I would barely consider the course playable in the condition it was today.
Fun course
Greens were in great shape. Tee boxes just aerated. Fairways a little rough but well mowed
Overall the course itself was in good condition and had a good layout. The only negative was the staff. Our group had multiple first time golfers and the staff was unwilling to cooperate with us and were being unreasonably aggressive towards us. There were multiple times were they had to come over to explain things to us which is reasonable for a group of first timers and the staff was rude to us each interaction.
Nice Course
a couple of tight fairways and doglegs but very challenging.

Some bare spots in fairways and tees. Greens were good.
Ocean Resort Golf Course
The greens where slow with aeration holes not fully filled in .
Cost me 4 to 6 strokes on the greens and didn’t 2 putt any greens shot an 82
Overall is a great day on a golf course
