Scottsdale Silverado Golf Club - Silver Pony Course

The course was well-designed, the pace was quick, and the backdrop was beautiful!

The greens were in immaculate shape (almost too fast!), while the fairways were well maintained and elevations were fun to play!

The course was very fun to play, the layout is exceptional. Some of the best greens I have play on in a while. Wish I lived in the area.

Nice course/ good conditions/ all ruined by pace of play/ nearly 5 hours/ not one Marshall anywhere/ don’t be so greedy/ put a few starter times in / absolutely avoidable/ totally unnecessary

We’ve played Silverado a number of times. First round in a few years. Course was in good shape. Pretty wet, obviously watering a far bit. Course hasn’t changed much. Over seeding is ok. Fairways firm, but green. Greens true and will hold full shot. Not the most difficult course, but fun to play. Pace of play was good for us. Marshall and drink cart very visible. Will play again

The course was great. People were very laid back and friendly. Food was ok. No healthy options though.

Very player friendly but still enjoyable. I played from the white tees with some very nice young guys but newbies at the game. I could have played from the tips. Would have been long but fairways are wide.

For a popular low cost course Silverado is worth every penny! Tees, fairways and greens are in awesome shape! Love playing this course.

I played Silverado for the first time. The staff and cart girl were great, but the course is average at best. The back nine is better than the front but the fairways were not in great shape and the layout was not particularly interesting. For $130.00 I felt it was overpriced but that is golf in AZ, and particularly Scottsdale, these days.

Have played Silverado in past… it is what it is… i never expect it to be a great track as it is a budget golf course and that is fine. But this year it seemed the fairways were not being attended.. poor seeding ? Very thin and ALOT of mud.

Can’t blame the time of season as several other budget courses (Starfire and McCormick had way better fairways.)

It was odd because the grass was growing longer in fairways so no roll and they were thin.

Hopefully they get it corrected but I paid too much for those conditions.

Course was in great shape… fairways were wet & overwatered like most courses. Great staff and a solid value for this time of the year

The front played like an average municipal course, the back was better. No walkable on the back 9 though unfortunately. Grass was a bit ragged on fairways, greens were lacking full growth. We had a good round but felt like it was too much at $119 each.

Always good to play Silverado again. Course in pretty good shape and the putts rolled true. T-boxes are right with Fairways good. Pace of play excellent. Decent value given the price of golf these days

Got off in the afternoon at 2pm and almost finished 18 holes. Course is in great shape.

I enjoyed both of my rounds at Scottsdale SIlverado from start to finish. The golf attendants keep things running smoothly and on time while also being nice and friendly. I teed off in the afternoon both rounds and both rounds went off right on time.

The course is fairly wide open in many spots so errant shots are easily found and in most cases playable. The tee boxes and fairways are in decent shape. The greens were not in great shape but the ball rolled true on most holes.

Its a small sample, but everyone I played with and came in contact with on the course was pleasant and there to play some golf and enjoy. So even when play slowed a little nobody got uptight.

I'll be back in Scottsdale and I'll be back at SIlverado.
