About

In 2009 the “Silver Pony Course” at Scottsdale Silverado Golf Club was created. It is an executive length short course with tee boxes on Silverado’s front nine.

The concept was developed to accommodate the local youth, golfers new to the game, and players who simply want to play a quick nine holes.

Saved the best for last.

We had 2 foursomes with noon tee times. The course was in amazing condition and the greens looked very well maintained. It was the last course we played on our 4 day trip from NW Missouri and it didn’t disappoint. The front desk guys, cart guys and Marshall were all very polite and some were very helpful in giving us a few pointers prior to our round. If ever in the area again, I will book multiple rounds at Silverado!!

Too Slow!!!

The pace of play was ridiculous! I watched the marshal watch the foursome that was holding four groups up and he did NOTHING. Myself and the players I was coupled with got fed up and we quit after only 9 holes.

Really enjoyed the back 9, but a few things are really off-putting for the price.

Front 9 overcrowded with tee times very close together, on a cramped layout for the first few holes.

Carts are stripped down. No windshields, no coolers.

Terrific course and people

Had a great time, met some really nice golfers . Greens were in super shape and so were the fairways. Booked an additional round for the next time I come to Arizona which is in 2 weeks.
