SaddleBrooke Ranch Golf Club
About
Located in the North Tucson area, SaddleBrook Ranch Golf Club borders the Santa Catalina Mountains. The course meanders through the high Sonoran desert, incorporating natural washes into the design and providing stunning mountain views from almost every hole. Abundant desert flora and fauna further enhance the rugged, gently rolling terrain. The golf course offers a mix of challenging holes and player-friendly features, resulting in a layout with several interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to low and high handicappers equally. The player-friendly fairways are generous, allowing beginners to feel comfortable with ample room off the tees and rewarding thoughtful play. There are also carefully placed mounds, hollows, and bunkers along the large, receptive greens that provide opportunities to recover an errant shot. The golf course is made even more versatile with five different sets of tees.

Never again
If I could give 0 stars I would. The course is in typical decent condition. I brought my 10 year old daughter because she is beginning to play and loves coming out with me to play. My 8 year old also joined as I am a single father and she enjoys watching her sister and I play. The staff and rangers were absolutely horrible and harassed us on multiple occasions. The first time, on the 10th hole I was asked if I told the desk that I had spectators. I said no, I paid for 2 rounds and my oldest was playing. He continued to say how I had spectators and I had to reiterate that I paid for 2 rounds and that my oldest was playing. He told me to never do it again. Then on the 17th a different ranger pulled up and started talking about spectators and I told him that I've already had this conversation with a different ranger and that I paid for a twosome. He said something about having 3 people in a cart and that kids can't drive a cart. I explained that I am a single father and asked him what he thinks I should do to which he had zero answer.
I did have my older daughter drive the cart a couple of times in the interest of pace of play since everyone on the back 9 had to wait on every tee shot, including us. Our pace of play was never an issue because every tee we pulled up to, the group in front of us was still on the tee box. Maybe the rangers should tell 30+ handicappers not to hit off the tips like the group ahead of us instead of harassing a single dad trying to enjoy a day of golf with his daughters.
Will return!
I love this course as it is about perfect for my skill level. The people in the area are happy and the atmosphere welcoming. We'll return for more golf in the future.
Much better than last time
Different people in the pro shop made all the difference. Much more friendly and helpful than my last visit.
Staff
Clubhouse staff was something far less than friendly and welcoming. Felt like I was imposing on the SaddleBrooke community.
Course conditions were less than average
Found green speeds inconsistent; fairways were very firm.
Great atuff
Lovely course. Nice facilities. Friendly staff. Kim Hayek was especially friendly and helpful.
Excellent Course
Friendly staff, Challenging Course and great food options. Looking forward to playing again soon
Horrible conditions
I have never seen the golf course this rough before.
The Greens were ridiculous and some were spray painted.
I was truly amazed that it was this bad and embarrassed that I brought a visitor.
