About
Located in the North Tucson area, SaddleBrook Ranch Golf Club borders the Santa Catalina Mountains. The course meanders through the high Sonoran desert, incorporating natural washes into the design and providing stunning mountain views from almost every hole. Abundant desert flora and fauna further enhance the rugged, gently rolling terrain. The golf course offers a mix of challenging holes and player-friendly features, resulting in a layout with several interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to low and high handicappers equally. The player-friendly fairways are generous, allowing beginners to feel comfortable with ample room off the tees and rewarding thoughtful play. There are also carefully placed mounds, hollows, and bunkers along the large, receptive greens that provide opportunities to recover an errant shot. The golf course is made even more versatile with five different sets of tees.

Staff pompous toward GN reservation. Laughed at me when I simply ask if going off early was possible. Not going back at any discount. Very disappo.
Started forgot to announce me. Stuck me between two threesomes.
Pretty course
Tee boxes and greens in great shape. Fairways cut very short and tough to hold greens on approach shots. Overall straight forward, very nice course.
The cross over stand going to 10 should stay open longer
It was just before 2 and the stand was closed already
Satisfied Player
Good experience overall. Foursome behind us was annoying though. We had to wait for foursome in front of us but a most of the course. The pace was good though, so didn’t know what their problem was!

Nice course, quite isolated
This is a nice course, pretty and a nice layout. We happened to get it on a gorgeous day, sunny and very pleasant. The fairways are very tight and the greens were VERY hard to read. We had a heck of a time trying to figure the breaks.
The resort has FANTASTIC amenities and the food in the grille was excellent. Would definitely want to play it again.
Very nice course well maintained. Would be better if the hot dog house at the turn would stay open a little later.
Flat course
Flat course, nice greens. Two dumb holes though…10 and 12. Two washes on these holes which slows down play.
If you like a wide-open fairways, or you can hit it anywhere in relatively flat greens and slow play that’s the place to go
Cart return time not mentioned prior
Course was in very good shape. Weather ideal. On check in staff was very friendly and professional. Was told cart number I was joining and met round-mate.
On hole 5 traveling ranger came by and informed us that we needed to have our carts back in by 6:45. Official sunset was 6:53. This was the first time we had heard about a return time for carts. Not on check-in or in round description
I understand this but at least let us know before hand! One in our group had heard a PA announcement for a tee-time call for a 6-some, about 5 groups in front of us. Please don’t put a 6-some in front of us and expect us to finish the round fast. We had to skip hole 18 to get the cart back in time with plenty of daylight available to have played it if allowed.
Communicate this limitation better. Preferably in notes for tee-time signup.
