About
Located in the North Tucson area, SaddleBrook Ranch Golf Club borders the Santa Catalina Mountains. The course meanders through the high Sonoran desert, incorporating natural washes into the design and providing stunning mountain views from almost every hole. Abundant desert flora and fauna further enhance the rugged, gently rolling terrain. The golf course offers a mix of challenging holes and player-friendly features, resulting in a layout with several interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to low and high handicappers equally. The player-friendly fairways are generous, allowing beginners to feel comfortable with ample room off the tees and rewarding thoughtful play. There are also carefully placed mounds, hollows, and bunkers along the large, receptive greens that provide opportunities to recover an errant shot. The golf course is made even more versatile with five different sets of tees.

Course in great shape!
Friendly staff and the conditions of the fairways and greens were excellent!!
Great course to play in the heat!
The temperature may have contributed to the pace of play. After 1pm, I'm guessing no one else was crazy enough to play. As long as you stay hydrated, it's a great time to play.

Great Confidence Boosting Course
This course has the widest fairways I’ve ever seen. It is super forgiving. It also has a ton of tee box choices to pick from. The facilities are extremely well kept and clean/well-organized. It’s a great place to take a beginner to learn and won’t beat them up too badly. It’s a better alternative to one of the city courses.
It is highly exposed to the elements. There were not a ton of shade trees and wind was a huge factor the day I played. I could see that being the case often.
When I started, there was a group of 4 old ladies in front of me playing slower than I’ve ever seen a foursome play. I had to pass them and come back to play that hole. I think they might have been just learning to play, so no big deal. Aside from that, I didn’t see another group all day. There was nobody pushing me and nobody in front of me.
If you’re looking for a challenging course, this is not the one for you. I NEVER play tips, but I did here and I still shot 7 strokes better than my average.
Land of the 4.5 hour round
Please note if you decide to play here the residents control it.
Also note that this is a retired couples golf course.
4.5 hours is the rule here, busy or not there will always be some older couples slowing things up and trust me the residents ain't never waiving a faster group through..
Snack bar closes at 2. Carts are starting to look rundown, ripped sears etc. Long way to drive for a slow round on a generic golf course.
The course was in good shape. Greens were good too.
