About
Located in the North Tucson area, SaddleBrook Ranch Golf Club borders the Santa Catalina Mountains. The course meanders through the high Sonoran desert, incorporating natural washes into the design and providing stunning mountain views from almost every hole. Abundant desert flora and fauna further enhance the rugged, gently rolling terrain. The golf course offers a mix of challenging holes and player-friendly features, resulting in a layout with several interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to low and high handicappers equally. The player-friendly fairways are generous, allowing beginners to feel comfortable with ample room off the tees and rewarding thoughtful play. There are also carefully placed mounds, hollows, and bunkers along the large, receptive greens that provide opportunities to recover an errant shot. The golf course is made even more versatile with five different sets of tees.

Trouble in pro-shop
Don’t try to bring anyone with you to ride along in the cart… they’ll charge you a $25 “spectator fee”!
Nice, but very slow.
Fun day, but pace was not good - greens were very good - what you see is what you get as far as undulation.
Course closed !
Received a call at 8:00 am the The Ranch was closed due to weather conditions !

Great Layout
Saddlebrook Ranch is a great layout and a lot of fun to play. The fairways are in fair shape and the areas around the green are thin (think links style putting as a better play). The greens were fast and rolled true. There is a lot of green dye out on the course. With that said, the course is a lot of fun to play. There are courses in better shape during the winter, but this is still worth the play. Fun course, good practice facility, good restaurant for post round.

Course was in good shape for a December cold day. Lot of divots near the greens that need repair. Some grass dye around the greens as well.
Awesome course
I caught a ridiculous Hot Deal price on Thanksgiving and was already up that way from Tucson, hiking in Catalina State Park. My driver cost me dearly in the fierce wind (20+mph), but it was such a beautiful day I didn't mind. Definitely recommend.
Great lunch at the Brew Pub by the course
Unfortunately we hit a windy day and decided to just play 9 holes and have an early lunch. The course was in fairly good condition. Greens were in good shape.
Good golf but…
We had a tee time at 13:20. The man at true pro-shop told us that we had to be back at the club house with the cart maximum at 17h00 …even if we were at the 16th hole …he said for security ? First time that happened to me. …f
Nice course
Staff did not honor the Golf now rate so call ahead. Nice course challenging holes on back nine. Fun to have a brewery so close to the course all in all great round.
Great Times at SbrookeRanch
Another great time at Saddlebrooke Ranch, despite gusty winds (not their fault!). Fairways and greens are in great shape. Greens are newer, and still a little hard, so play accordingly. Sbrooke's rough has some type of thick grabby grass growing. This makes the course extremely challenging and rewards shots in the fairway. Pace of play is on the slower side, but honestly, why not have an excuse to spend more time on the course!
