About
Located in the North Tucson area, SaddleBrook Ranch Golf Club borders the Santa Catalina Mountains. The course meanders through the high Sonoran desert, incorporating natural washes into the design and providing stunning mountain views from almost every hole. Abundant desert flora and fauna further enhance the rugged, gently rolling terrain. The golf course offers a mix of challenging holes and player-friendly features, resulting in a layout with several interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to low and high handicappers equally. The player-friendly fairways are generous, allowing beginners to feel comfortable with ample room off the tees and rewarding thoughtful play. There are also carefully placed mounds, hollows, and bunkers along the large, receptive greens that provide opportunities to recover an errant shot. The golf course is made even more versatile with five different sets of tees.

Great value
Friendly staff. Nice facilities. Nice course. I will be back.
Cups not set properly
There was a ridge / volcano slope around every cup. The cups are not being set properly using a cup setter.
I played on 10/25 and all the areas with in 6-10 inches of the cup had the same problem. Please set the cups properly.
Other wise the course is in very good condition.
Enjoyable Round
Golf course is in good shape other than the cauliflower like rough around the greens. Pace of play was good for the front nine but slowed a bit on the back nine. Overall, the round was very enjoyable!

This course has many tee box options to fit any handicap level.
Pure shape, plenty of time to enjoy the views
Course was in excellent shape. Greens rolling pure, fairways lush and green.
The only set back was the pace of play.
2.5 hours to finish 9 holes should be expected on a Sunday afternoon but any hope to squeeze in a full 18 was shot down on the 2nd tee with a few groups already backed up.
Will be back but will try to get out early to ensure we can play an entire round.
Great Course, Rough Staff/Members
As far as the course goes, I have nothing bad to say about it. The course is well maintained and has a nice layout with pretty views. Pretty straightforward design that lends itself to a variety of skill levels.
However, the staff and people that were playing this course were hands down the most unpleasant people I have encountered on a golf course. Very old school golf club stuck up vibe. Woman in the pro shop seemed upset before we got in and had no problem taking it out on us. Our group shook it off and went over to the range. At the range a fellow golfer took issue with us teeing up and hitting driver. Maybe unspoken rule about that, but no signs stating “irons only.” Guy made it very clear that this is “his club.”
Overall, if you can shake off some glares and snide remarks, would 100% recommend the course for the quality, but fair warning you won’t be making any friends here.
