About
Located in the North Tucson area, SaddleBrook Ranch Golf Club borders the Santa Catalina Mountains. The course meanders through the high Sonoran desert, incorporating natural washes into the design and providing stunning mountain views from almost every hole. Abundant desert flora and fauna further enhance the rugged, gently rolling terrain. The golf course offers a mix of challenging holes and player-friendly features, resulting in a layout with several interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to low and high handicappers equally. The player-friendly fairways are generous, allowing beginners to feel comfortable with ample room off the tees and rewarding thoughtful play. There are also carefully placed mounds, hollows, and bunkers along the large, receptive greens that provide opportunities to recover an errant shot. The golf course is made even more versatile with five different sets of tees.

Generally good, very windy
Extremely windy which affected the ball even on the greens. The clubhouse was closed because of an issue with the ceiling.
Nice Surprise
I did not expect to find Saddlebrooke Ranch to be in the best condition of all the Saddlebrooke courses. The greens were terrific! On the fast side but beautifully true! The pace of play backs up a bit on the back nine because of several consecutive holes with washes, so golfers whose shot placement was off can spend too much time looking for their lost ball but the quality of the course makes up for any delay.
Marshal has to do his work
The course conditions were not bad.
But, the marshal saw the slow player, they played 2 times almost every shot, and 2 balls putting every hole on the green. The marshal didn’t control them. Almost next team waited every hole. We wasted our time and the mind.
Course Conditions At Saddlebroke Ranch
The main complaint I have is that the fairways are in poor condition which makes it very difficult for me to us my clubs. It has been like this for a long time but I have seen it get worse.
18 holes of fun golf but the 19th hole was disappointing
They have put in new greens which are still very firm and hard to hold but have come in beautifully and are very healthy. Should be in good condition throughout the summer because they did not over seed and Bermuda is already starting to come through nicely. Following the round however, they had limited service in the bar/restaurant. In mid April you should not be down scaling services so quickly. What are they going to do in June and July when there’s hardly anyone around? They have a beautiful new bar and restaurant and they are not utilizing it
Great Course
Paid $35 for a 3:00 tee time for 9 holes. Great value at a great course.
Good course but windy
I was impressed at how well the course has been kept up. The greens were excellent. Always windy up there.
Love playing here
Play this course once a week. New greens are firm but roll sweet. Always a little breezy which is nice in summer months. New clubhouse is outstanding.
No downside
Good price on Teeoff, and course was in pretty good shape.
SaddleBrooke Ranch
Tee boxes, fairways, sand traps and greens were all in great shape.
Course is pretty straight forward.
Next to zero trouble to get into
It's a nice course though. All the staff inside clubhouse and outside were very friendly.
Long drive from Green Valley (1:10) but I'm glad I made the journey.
I would play it again.
Slow go
I saw a marshal go by but he obviously did nothing about the slow play. A group of ladies finally quit in front of us as the afternoon dragged on… it’s not a social picnic out there people, get to your ball, select your club and hit the ball! And if you hit a ball into the desert or wash, have a quick look, drop another ball and move on. If you have hit 5 times and you’re only half way up the fairway, pick up and drop on the green. Golf is not a five hour game! Get your Marshall doing his job. Won’t be back for along time.
