About
Located in the North Tucson area, SaddleBrook Ranch Golf Club borders the Santa Catalina Mountains. The course meanders through the high Sonoran desert, incorporating natural washes into the design and providing stunning mountain views from almost every hole. Abundant desert flora and fauna further enhance the rugged, gently rolling terrain. The golf course offers a mix of challenging holes and player-friendly features, resulting in a layout with several interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to low and high handicappers equally. The player-friendly fairways are generous, allowing beginners to feel comfortable with ample room off the tees and rewarding thoughtful play. There are also carefully placed mounds, hollows, and bunkers along the large, receptive greens that provide opportunities to recover an errant shot. The golf course is made even more versatile with five different sets of tees.

Review
Pace of play AGAIN was slow. No ranger to assist. Same ole same ole.
A+ on the greens. Firm but perfect otherwise.
My only beef was no water on the course. Their still in Covid land. Most golfers aren’t.
Good course
Course was in really good shape, greens are good and receptive. Pace was good. They had a ranger who actually was out and having people keep pace! Staff was friendly. Range in great shape, short game area in great shape.
Nice October Morning
An early tee time and sunny day made it a pleasure to play here. Unfortunately they started us off playing the back nine for some reason, and the number ten hole is a challenge even when you're in a rhythm, so it was a difficult start. Fast and hard greens with some tough pin placements, but overall in good condition.
Good conditions, fair price
This course redid their greens this summer and they were only put into play 3 weeks ago. They are perfect.

Course is really quite good, and the newly done greens are challenging, but pretty cons.
Good job ok over all!
Slow slow slow
Took 5 hours to play the round. Triple stacked on some tee boxes. No marshal the whole round. Also no cart refreshments.
Review of Saddlebrooke Ranch
The course was good but one hole was cart path only and needed a lot of work. I was not happy that there was no ball washers on the course. Hope fully they will correct this.
Our round at Saddlebacke
We had a really fun time, enjoyed the course. It was our fist time golfing here, We were paired with another 2some, very nice gentlemen that made our round even more fun.
The one thing we were disappointed about was no beverage/snack cart, and the snack shack at the turn was closed at 2:36 when we got there, so no water, snacks, beverages available- on a Friday afternoon. Would have been good to know before we T'd off. We would've purchased before we T'd off on #!. Also the bathroom at the turn was closed. Not very user friendly for our experience (T time as 12:45)
Looking good for winter
I’ve played this course (10 months ago). They shut down to redo the greens, and the greens are back!!!
Firm, but smooth, and fast. You will be hard pressed to play on better, overlooking their firmness. Tee boxes reseeded and wonderful. Fairways close cut (not reseeded, but still green. May go dormant later in the year and may be painted (I’m ok with that). Sand fluffy, no rocks, exceptional.
Crotchety pro shop guy (normally could care less) he goes out of his way to be “difficult”.
My concern is golf, and the golf was very good, and impressive.
